Everything in this garden is stupendous. The view of the lake is breathtaking specially on a clear day. The garden itself is very well maintained and at this time of the year has great gazebos of blue rain. The palace is gorgeous.

I do not remember how much I paid to get in, but what I remember is how astonishingly beautiful I found the place. The colours of the flowers and trees, with the water of the lake and the mountains in the background. I really was...More

Beautiful peaceful gardens, and absolute work of art and must see! Did a walking tour of the gardens and museum with Suzzane from SuzyBikes and she explained the history and details of the garden, highly recommend her.

Loved the quaint little town and access to loads of boat trips around Lake Como which is vast. Not the best location for people with mobility issues as there are a great many stairs and hills.

We were surprised and delighted by the great variety of plants in the garden. Don't miss the lovely little chapel.

Immaculately groomed lawn and gardens surround this palacial sized 'villa'. The flowering azaleaa, rhododendrons and camellias were in full and magnificent bloom. The views across Lake Como are wonderful. Pick a sunny day and spend a few hours wandering the gardens. A must do in...More

I visited it at the end of September, and yes, I also heard that it's closed in January.
