I have heard that 50 years ago people bath like in the sea into those waters. Well, I don't know if water is still so clean but it is definitely a romantic place to see. It is the Italian Ganges, definitely less worshiped

The terrain around Cremona is not especially interesting, but the walk is a pleasant way to spend time if you are in town for a few days.

If you visit Cremona, a walk along the river is a must. There are some paved pedestrian paths and a ciclyng track, but unfortunately no toilets or other facilities. The landscape may look plain and boring, but it is what the river banks should be: low vegetation, pebbles and shrubs.

We went for a walk round the lake and really enjoyed it. Locals told us that there is a boat which goes round the lake and was transformed in a sort of a restaurant. I am sure that will be a nice experience.
