When we were in Santa Margherita, we wanted to buy some wine. Our hotel told us about this store and we found it not too far away. I only wish we needed more because it had everything. We did buy about 63 Euros worth. Well worth the trip.

Our first day in SML, we wanted to stock up on a few items to keep in our hotel fridge for snacks so headed out to find a market and stumbled into Seghezzo. Wow! It has the look of a local institution and likely is. It has so much to offer, we bought fresh fruit, some cheese and salumi, jarred tuna in olive oil, fresh bread, and some prepared lasagne (lots of prepared items in a large case by the entrance, all so tempting) and all super fresh and high quality. We also grabbed a bottle of local wine. Lots of locals inside chatting away with the staff. Great service too. Upon entering, one of the counter staff made sure we took a basket to make shopping easier, and she held our other items behind the counter until we were ready to check out. Definitely stop by!

Amazing grocery store with a great wine, cheese, and meat selection. Get a slice of the lasagna for takeout. This place is a gem. Friendly service too!

Not a lot of square footage but every inch is culinary goodness. I could have spend hours in there if my husband would have let me. Sadly, as many shops in the country do, they close during mid day. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
