Without dodging mopeds. Stunning villa and interesting history of the actual owner who was from Albanian and very influential in the region. Cool park like setting. Beware of tree nuts falling. The weight over 5kg!
This is a great place to learn/practice the Italian art of doing nothing. If you're not in a hurry to see and do everything in SM spend an hour or two exploring the surrounding park and just sitting on one of the benches in the...More

I was told by one of the waitresses to come to this place.
I was pleasantly surprised by the walk through the park.
When you get to the top you have some nice views.

We attended a private event at the Villa as part of our cruise on Windstar's Star Legend. Loved this location - was a bit of a hike to get up to - but had lovely views and was a beautiful place for our luncheon!

There is an adjoining office where you can buy tickets. It was closed for renovations when we went but I did speak to the curator who said that the complex gets busy in the summertime. You would not get access when there are weddings or functions booked. I suggest you call or email when you are planning to go and ask if they are open for business then and how best to get tickets.
