Walk from Kulm (above Ruta di Camogli) to quite a bit after Pietre Strette, on the descent towards Portofino. Excellent paved or dirt road, also suitable for children and "people of a certain age", like us. Beautiful nature as always.
The only disturbance, in a place where you would expect only silence and the chirping of birds, the noise of civilization rising from the valleys, including the tormenting beep-beep of the cars moving on construction sites.
Sooner or later we will also have to talk about noise pollution.

Beautiful park with lots of lovely trails. The easier trail runs from Portofino Vetta to Portofino Mare with several points of drinking water along the trail. There are more adventurous trails too: one from San Rocco to the abbey of San Frutuoso. Take enough water on that one and be prepared to climb rocks holding the chain.

We were in Portofino on a cruise stop and spent the day here. Relatively short walk from the marina but make sure you know where you can find the stairs down. Very small, rocky beach but it’s gorgeous. The water and views were amazing. With everything else it Portofino breaking the bank, this was an amazing free thing to do. My kids loved swimming here. Best to bring some shoes for the rocky beach.

Went on June 26 for a ring ride from Camogli. I think to call it a park and a utopia is nothing more than a forest kept terrible full of brambles and vegetation. Fallen trees left on weed paths that make the journey dangerous. I fell hurting myself very much from a root left on the path covered by vegetation could have been worse. You have a paradise with breathtaking views flowers and magnificent Mediterranean scrubs to envy shame that the Region does not invest in maintenance certainly you do not lack money. That said, the scenarios are killer. Recruit a bit of Alpini they know about paths.

From the Website (and it is totally understated).

The Portofino Park, with its 80 km of trails marked in just over 1500 hectares of land, is a true paradise for all those who love hiking, answering, with its variety of trails, both the most trained and demanding lovers of relaxing and uncompromising walks.

My opinion: Exceptional, there is nothing like it in the world! From Portfino you can walk/hike all around the area-hikes/walks are all on well manicured stone and brick pathways and the views are unbeliveable.

Parco di Portofino was such a fresh, green relief after the crowds and traffic in Genoa. It’s peaceful, quiet, and the views are spectacular. We did some leisurely hikes, stopped to admire the scenery, and breathed the fresh air. No crowds in October.

There are many trails in this area and most are well marked. The walk I enjoyed was a strong climb out of Portofino, straight up out of the city on the Main Street then 100’s of steps to reach the actual trail. The trail system appears to be well marked with a handful of other hikers (depending upon the time of day) which is nice for me as I hiked alone. Incredible views and definitely inspiration type hiking. The trails are quite rocky so good “sticky” hiking shoes or boots are necessary. I usually hike with poles, but I did not bring them along on this hike and I was fine, but if you have poles or your hotel has them to borrow it might help. A memorable experience!

The place is nice, but the management absolutely questionable. Public assets managed exclusively for the benefit of a few private individuals, with disappointing results.
