Pedestrian shopping street mostly deserted on a rainy November Sunday afternoon. A few shops were open, a few bargains to be had - but not many

This is main pedestrian only street to central train station. Funny, during summer, most of shops were closed during the day. I think many were closed between noon and 4pm, and then only open from 4pm to say 8 pm, so limited hours. That meant...More

Nice area to walk, shop and eat. Not many tourists other than those walking to the train station to/from Cinque Terre

Let's be honest about this: Via del Prione is a fairly ordinary shopping street in a fairly ordinary provincial Italian town. It is pedestrianised and it includes the Amedeo Lia museum, one of La Spezia's better sights. It runs roughly from the station down towards...More
