The park itself is as beautiful as many other parks in Genoa. Unfortunately the bad is when you get out, especially on the station side. To avoid especially after six, drugs, drifters and risk mugging. If you go I recommend parking in the immediate vicinity, visit the park and then leave immediately by car. It gets better.

Such a beautiful park with lots to see and explore. Beautiful trees from all over the world planted in the park with incredible untold stories in the bark of the trees. Glorious views from the garden leading onto the promenade adjacent to the sea. If you’re in the area, one not to be missed. There’s also a children’s adventure playground in the middle of the park in a shady spot.

Don't hesitate to go there to get some fresh air and see remarkable trees
We spent a long time there and took a walk along the edge of the beautiful point of view
After the very dense and crowded center of Genoa it feels good

The park is really well looked after and ideal for a bit of relaxation but I honestly expected more especially on the children's playground (absent!). It wasn't one of the very first things we did on our holiday in Genoa but, since it was an activity recommended by many, we followed my advice. Very far to reach from our accommodation in the Porto Antico area (more than half an hour by public transport).

Stay in Genoa, before leaving we spent a beautiful day in the park and the Anita Garibaldi walk. The park is immense, well looked after, welcoming and elegant. There is space to play and relax. Both adults and children like it. Compliments.

We took the bus to Nervi to walk the Anna Garibaldi promenade, and so we stopped at the public gardens along the way. In May the rose gardens were abloomin riotous colors, and there were very few other people around (save for some schoolkids that were so excited to test their fledgling English skills on us). I'm sure that someone more into horniculture could give a more experienced critique, but for a total rose novice like me it was amazing.

Favorite times of year- December and April. It's busy, but not overly crowded. A gorgeous walk by the sea that's easily accessible by bus or train. You can buy gelato or focaccia just off the promenade- molto bene. I've had great luck snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, drinking, and people watching.

After a full-of-sightseeng morning, we spend the afternnon on this beautiful park. It is frequented by Genovese, has a lot of green spaces to play with a ball, federball, playgrounds. Coming out of the park towards the see, one can stroll around on the nice Anita Garibaldi passageways, just above the sea. Beautiful !

Easy to get to by train from Genoa, only 15 minutes or so, and on our journey to Nervi we went on a double decker train. There is nothing at Nervi other than being a small but pretty fishing village with a nice promenade along the beautiful coast which is worth walking along. But when travelling on trains in Italy, make sure you activate your ticket otherwise you will get a fine like us even though we had a ticket!
We couldnt find any where to eat In Nervi itself but there are places to eat along the promenade walking south.

I love Parchi di Nervi. First of all it is a very nice garden: a lot of grass, a lot of flowers, a lot of trees, a lot of squirrel playing with you. One thing I love so much it is directly in front of the see, you have the quiet, relaxing, atmosphere of a very nice garden and a fantastic sight of the see at the same time.

Hello Sara,
I think dogs are allowed, as we saw some there while strolling.
I also did not see a sign that dogs are not allowed at the entrance of the park.
Best Regards,
Milen

Hello everyone, Does anyone know the parking situation around the parks? I saw there is one parking area besides the train station, how much is it and how long can you park there?
Written September 1, 2016
Parking is rather difficult. You'd better park your car downtown and walk. You can even take a train that takes you there. But going there by car is definitely a bad idea, especially in summer.

Ciao a tutti!
Mi hanno detto che a Genova in zona Sant'Ilario c'è un parco attrezzato non tanto grande. Sapete dirmi per favore come si chiama?
