Leaving from old port this is a fun ride for old and young. 45 minutes trip around the city for €8 . You don't get to hop on hop off like other buses but it is nice way to see city and give the old legs a rest. Like hop on/off there is audio in different languages .

We started the ride and it was very uncomfortable. Very bumpy ride and STRONG smell of gasoline from the head wagon. The recorded tour guide was nothing special: important things were completely ignored (I'm from Genoa myself, I would have been a better guide). After a short while we got completely stuck in the traffic. We waited and waited and... More

I walked through the old city for hours and did a lot of staring as I loved the architecture. I wanted to get a hop on hop off tour to see more of the city but since I was travelling in the off season, Trenino Pippo was all that was available. I was grateful to give my feet a rest,... More

Trenino Pippo is a small truck (made to look like a train) pulling a long a series of carriages. The main language is Italian, however, head phones are available for a range of other languages. The trip took 45 minutes and gives a good overview of the city and key sights. For what it is and the price of the... More

We only had two nights and one day to see the sights. We walked most of old town on our own and the train allowed us to go a bit further and see a few more sites. It's only a 45 min ride and you catch it at the antico porto. It was fun and gave our feet a rest... More

It's better to do it on foot. City is small. You cannot hop off. City cruise is better value for money.

I really enjoyed taking the little tourist train around Genoa. I was able to get a feel for the layout of the city, much better than just looking at a map.
