"Not for us"

When we bought tickets for the bus we did not realise that from our hotel everything was within walking distance. We only used it a couple of times when we were tired.

Having been on several of these in a variety of cities we tried this one today and we're not disappointed. We picked the open top bus up from Station Principle and we're provided with head phones to listen to the excellent guide. Having already walked around the city for a couple of days it was good to have names and... More

my family and I have been on a cruise and one of the stops was Genoa the sightseeing bus was right there at the harbor which is great for people to hop on directly if they are cruising we did not get on the bus. instead we took the train to Santa Margherita and then the bus to Portofino from... I was recommended to take this HOHO bus but it turned out to be a waste of money. It's a way to get a general impression of Genoa and its beautiful architecture but certainly not the way I expected. The driver was going too fast and you could hardly enjoy the sights. The bus was full but they still allowed... More

I really didn't know what to expect from Genova, but I fell in love with the city. Its architecture are just spectacular and the cleanliness of the city is the best I have seen in any Italian city. The City Sightseeing bus is ideal to see the highpoints of this anazing city. The culture, the history and the wonderful buildings... More

Booked hop-on/hop-off at cruise terminal pier. Literature says it takes 55 minutes. Cost is 15 Euros/person. Map includes a printed schedule that bus didn't really adhere to. The one thing they did adhere to was the stopping of the tour at stop #1 after we just boarded at stop #8 at the pier which is the last stop before stop... More

We often use the City Sightseeing Hop On Hop Off (HOHO) buses when visiting tourist cities. They are really only cost effective if you have most of the day to tour. The HOHO bus is better than public buses because they tend to drop you right at tourist sites and have frequent schedules with good maps. If you have a... More

Gets to some of the places that the city tour bus doesn't, much more extensive route. Pleased with the price, as we had tickets from a previous city that gives 10% off. The map is much more detailed for all the cities which is a bonus for return visits, and wandering off the explore. Pleased with this tour option.

The staff are helpful' but this is a wasteof money. Although you can hop on andoff for 2 days, the quality of the commentary is well below what it should be for such a historical city. It basically amounts to pointing out a fraction of the sites that there are in Genova. Can you read a map? Can you walk?... More

We took the bus at the Ferrari square. They clearly explained how it works and provided a map with all the stops ant a timetable. They also provided personal earphones. The bus arrives each 20 minutes and operate between 9am to 6pm. they have a lunch break between 1:30-2:00pm. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
