it ist the best idea for food lovers... in about 3 / 3.5 hours we got known the kitchen of genova (again)... marina showed us some insiders of the genovese people... nothing were you would step into as a tourist. we were a small group of three and very lucky to do the tour in the off-season in march, so we had a "private" tour. it is not just walking around and eating, marina also told us about history, knew very much things so it was also like a really goof conversation with friends! our tip is: do not eat too much breakfast, if you choose the 11:30 tour, you will get enough to eat!

Fabulous evening with Valeria tasting Genova's food - fish, pasta, focaccia, pesto, ice cream - and exploring the old town. Valeria's tales of growing up in Genova and her local knowledge made this a true cultural experience. Not to be missed.

We enjoyed a wonderful, historical afternoon with Marina. Professional, highly educated on the history of the area and delightful young lady. We visited the corners and alleys of the area we would not have otherwise found….my husband and I enjoyed Gelato for the first time. We truly enjoyed our cultural food tour and found a great appreciation for Genoa. Thank you!

What a nice day with Rita! It rained while we were
Doing the tour and we were late due to our cruises ship having issues to dock but the team was very understanding and I was able to chat them to let them know. Very accommodating, we ended up meeting at 2nd stop. The tour was great! Food was amazing and maybe we should have skipped breakfast or have a lighter one. Rita was very nice and very knowledgeable. Definitely a memorable day and tour.

One of the best food tours we have been on, nice stops, with seats!!! Food was good, knowledge was good, great way to see Genoa, and definitely value for money. Sabine was great - would definitely recommend

Marina was an amazing guide on our food tour! Funny, knowledgable and gave so many recommendations, which was extremely helpful for the rest of our stay in Genoa. A great experience overall. Highly recommend!

Purchased as a birthday present for my husband, the tour did not disappoint. Marina was a great hostess, imparting both her love and knowledge of Genoa, as well as expertly navigating us through the small streets of Genoa, stopping of at five very different eateries, Marina was able to give information and background to everything we ate. And there was plenty of it! Definitely a day to remember.

It has been raining all day long, but Marina has distracted from the rain with her thrilling stories, lots of fun and joy. She is a great guide with a lot of knowledge about her city, lots of warmth and humor. We loved the food! We would book the tour again immediately. Thank you dear Marina, keep up the good work!

We got lucky and essentially had a private tour. Went to some awesome restaurants and ate more food than we thought possible. Good selection of restaurants and variety of foods. Our tour guide was great.

Silvia was a very knowledgeable guide on places to eat in Genoa as well as helpful information on Genoa itself.
The tour involved 5 food stops covering noted Genovese cuisines (seafood, torte, focaccia and pesto alla genovese).
One tip though, make sure you do the tour on an empty stomach as you will be eating a lot of food!

I’m trying to book the cooking class for the 7th of September but I can’t seem to confirm these dates for two people - i sent a query but was wondering if this was because of the pandemic of minimum person requirements? Thank you

Thank you for your interest in our cooking class. We always have a min number of participants for this cooking class which is 3. But, in this specific case, you couldn't book because on that precise date the cooking class is not available.
