We found Trekguyd on trip advisor and felt that it was one of the highlights of our two weeks in Italy. Pall was fantastic, not only as a guide, but as a source of knowledge. Pall covered the history of the area, the local flora and the vineyards. We were expecting a longer hike, but the rain the night before required some modification. The country aspect of the hike was the highlight (we hiked the equivalent of 71 stories and just over 5 miles) and it allowed us to appreciate the quiet of the country as opposed to when we entered the tourist crowds of a town. Pall did an excellent job of pacing and we never felt like he was pushing us. If you can hike, this is a can't miss

I am happy that you had a wonderful time in Cinque Terre. We have been fighting the rain and makes some trails unpassable. We were lucky that our trail was manageable without any mishaps. We try to do our best to make sure you are safe at all times. Thank You for your wonderful review and I hope to see you on one of our East African treks. Pall

I went back to find your booking and name, well it was not there and I keep all my booking for years. I don't know why you would write such a comment or say something directly to me. Look at all the other comments and they say a completely different experience.

My friend and I had a great hike with Pall through vineyards, hills, and trails not accessible to most tourists. As a long-time resident of Riomaggiore, he was very knowledgable about the area and local lore, and shared with us very interesting tidbits of info. He was also able to hook us up with some last minute restaurant reservations, thank you! The hike was somewhat strenuous - it was really hot that day - but we took breaks when needed and so all was good. Highly recommend this guide and activity. Did i mention the magnificent views from atop the hills? Truly a highlight of our vacation and a day very well spent.

If you do one thing while visiting Cinque Terre, it should be this tour with Pall! My wife and I learned so much about the people, culture and the wine with breathtaking views along the way. I don’t think I could go back without doing this again. Already recommended it to friends who will be doing this tour soon! The hike was very manageable and it is very much a go at your own pace type of experience. It was especially enjoyable to take the easier routes with someone who knows the city and trails inside and out while watching the other tourists take the more challenging routes. Thanks for everything Pall!

This was the absolute best way to hike the Villages. Pall was great at connecting with us prior to our visit and checking in to see if we needed anything. He is the perfect expert to educate you on the history, ecology, trails. He knows the area and the locals. We were able to hike all five villages because of Palls guidance. Highly recommend him. One of the most rewarding experiences we did.
