We were in Trieste Italy in May 2017 for our grand tour of all countries circling the alps and found this information centre very helpful. I would return for help to this location again.

Go and get one, or more,( one for each person). of the audio guide units. They will lead you through the larger parts of Trieste. Saw stuff I would have never seen on our own.

It was difficult to find, but when found it provided a lot of good information about Trieste. A good place to start if you have no idea or prepared to visit the area.

Very helpful multilingual staff, and lots of brochures and maps. I recommend you buy the VFG pass. It allows access to museums, local transport and lots of other things.

No, sorry. We arrived by train and traveled throughout the area by bus. I would suggest taking a train to Austria. It would be much easier.
