It is a beautiful Serbian church which is located by the Canal Grande. The buildnig is old and the interior is wonderful. There is a very good iconostasis. It is a must see for the Orthodox but I think everyone will love it

I found the facade of the Chiesa Serbo Ortodossa di San Spiridone to be a bit too loaded, what with all the statues, inscriptions and colorful frescoes. Unfortunately, it was closed by the time I got there, so I can't speak to the inside of...More

This is a much more attractive church inside than the nearby San Antonio. It is not surprising that James Joyce preferred it! The colours are wonderful and there is a good iconostasis.

This has such wonderful architecture externally and internally. An interesting place to shelter from the heat for a while.

A magnificent church, that has an Italian 'footprint' to it, compared to others you can visit in the Balkans. You can catch a glimpse into the life of local Orthodox believers who came to live and work in Trieste as merchants.
