For €5 the tourist office provides an official San Marino tourist visa stamp for your passport that's a great souvenir of your visit. There's also some tourist brochures available.

Perhaps not everyone is aware, San Marino belongs to the chain of smallest European independent countries with Andorra, Vatican, Monaco and Lichtenstein. The visa to enter San Marino is not required. Main Tourist Office of SM issues a visa to be stamped into the passport...More

We now know why people might have thought of themselves as Gods. If you were to have lived in San Marino up in the castle with that view... no doubt about it. Just awe inspiringly beautiful.

The tourism office will give you a really cool stamp for 5 Euro. Right downhill from there is an amazing outlook with great views.

The bus makes multiple stops in San Marino and terminates at the base of the castle.
