We visited this statute on our guided tour but I was honestly so overwhelmed by the beauty of San Marino that I was inattentive to the lecture about Garibaldi.

This is hardly a monument. A small stature on the corner of a street, outside one of the cities larger hotels. You'll probably not even see if if you're casually passing by, but it's worth a look.

The monument is dedicated to Giuseppe Garibaldi, Italian poliotician and general. He is to be concidered as the father of the modern Italy. Monument stands at beautiful square full of flowers. Be there early in the morning to avoid crowd.
