    Excellent city
A city that continues to surprise me in a positive way. Green spaces, cycle paths, for scooters and bicycles, equipment for gymnastic activities, children's playground, completely free basketball area along the entire stretch of seafront. Beaches equipped for every type of personal need (for disabled people, for children, for animals, for LGBT people, for families, for the elderly). Restaurants for every type of palate you have. Shops open almost all hours including many boutiques even at night. Fun rooms for kids, discos, pubs and much more. What can I say have fun. I forgot the bus and sea metro service and the bike and scooter rentals are excellent.

    Not sure…
We were in Rimini last Saturday, June 1st, and were unpleasantly surprised with dozens of unsightly old and weathered market benches/tables/clothes racks placed on the streets in city centre (not limited to the market area). The “goods” sold on these tables were cheap, polyester pieces of clothing, plastic footware etc. They were everywhere you turn around, also not sure if this was some kind of one-time event or if this happens every Saturday. Every commodity finds its buyer - but wouldn’t it be more appropriate if instead of 1 eur plastic dresses made across the globe there were some local art displays, local clothing items and souvenirs, books and postcards, local food, vintage articles from the area etc and the goods placed on nice, clean tables? It is a city centre or were we mistaken? We planned to spend a whole day in Rimini but left earlier comparing the beauty of other cities near by with what we saw in Rimini.

    Attractive, compact centre
I have mixed feelings about the centre of Rimini. If you're lazing on the beach, it's well worth looking around the centre too. If you're travelling around Italy then it's not worth your while taking a detour to Rimini. Its attractions are pleasant enough but pale in comparison to other Italian towns. Anyway I was there in rainy, cold October for the Rimini v SPAL evening football match. I stayed a night and the next day enjoyed my stroll along the Porto Canale and its moored boats and then into the very compact centre, seeing the Tempio Malatestiano cathedral, the 2,000-year-old Roman buildings of the Arco d'Augusto & the Tiberius Bridge, plus the medieval Porta Gervasona town gate.

Rimini center is too generic as a definition, because the center of Rimini is not the one along the seafront, where most people walk. There is also the real center, the one that starts from the arch of Augustus and also takes you to the Malatesta temple. If we want to limit ourselves to the seafront and the internal road it is a long walk among cafes and shops

Nice surprise at this center of Rimini, which I thought was a deserted seaside resort in the off-season. Not at all, the city dates back well before the Romans, and ancient buildings abound (arch, bridge of Tiberius, etc. The pedestrian center is full of restaurants and small shops, and above all it is avoided by vacationers who are only looking to bathe in the sea.

With this being what we thought the pure tourist area we didn’t expect much from the city centre. What a surprise we got when we took a visit there!

It is absolutely beautiful and full of stunning buildings and streets. My advice would be to visit a tourist information office (there is one in the train station for example) and pick up a map and an information booklet. We did exactly this and it paid dividends as there is a rich history to this town.

We did follow the map roughly but generally just got lost in the beautiful streets of the old town. Lots of great bars and restaurants for refreshment and the historic monuments all have interesting information on board is nearby.

The free Start Romagna bus in the summer does not exist.
You can't make fun of the people and the municipality that pays you like that.
I had to wait 45 minutes after booking (that was the waiting time given by the App).
He was supposed to arrive to pick me up at 5.32pm but instead I received a double notification around 5.40pm:
“The driver arrived” “The user did not show up”
He left me walking at the Italo Flori car park.

Rimini is a beautiful city on the Adriatic coast. Its rich history intrigues to explore every corner, every palace, every church, every square .... Rimini was the intersection of paths that connected central Italy via Flamini's Road (Via Flaminia) and northern Italy via Emili's Road ( Via Emilia ). The city also participated in the civil wars at first on the side of Gaius Maria and then Caesar. After crossing the Rubicon River, Caesar addressed the legions at the Rimini Forum ( Main Square ). Rimini attracted the attention of several Roman emperors, such as Augustus, Tiberius, and Hadrian. Then the Arch of Augustus, the Tiberius Bridge and the amphitheater were built. The historic center of Rimini is therefore rich in various buildings. The visit of the historic part of the city starts from the central square of the city, Piazza Cavour, still the seat of power. It is possible to admire the beautiful Palazzo dell'Arengo (1204), where in medieval times justice court was administered and the assembly of the Municipality met. In the square we can enjoy two more beautiful palaces Palazzo del Podestà and Palazzo Garampi. At the center of the square, on the other hand, stands the imposing bronze statue of Pope Paul V, by Nicolò Cordier and Sebastiano Sebastiani, a monument erected by the citizens in gratitude to the Pope in 1614. The square also houses the famous Teatro Amintore Galli, as well as the historic Library and the interesting Fish Market building. A little further on in the beautiful Piazza Tre Martiri we can enjoy in the Roman excavations, in the statue of Julius Caesar, in the Clock Tower, in the lovely column of Julius Caesar, memorial slab of the Three Martyrs and in the little temple of St. Anthony. Not far from the square is the beautiful Cathedral of Rimini - Tempio Malatestiano. Rimini is a beautiful place to see and feel the combination of antique and modern. In the center there is a lot of beautiful places for fun and relaxation, bars and restaurants. The right place to enjoy.

The castle and museum also the arch and the oldest roman Bridge is fantastic. Every Wednesday and Saturday there is a huge market which is really lovely. The indoor fish and vegetable Market is brilliant and the food is very fresh. Also there are toilets in there though be warned they are Turkish toilets.
Rimini is a wonderful place to visit and enjoy the ancient and modern Italian architecture and design. Then you can go to the light house and harbour which has been refurbished. Best enjoyed in the evening and sunset.

A very nice place with nice people. Lovely waterfront promenade that looks like a postcard. Not as upscale as some coastal resorts but something for everybody here and it can be done without breaking the bank. Can be seasonal at some hotels and shops.

Rimini

It is located on the Adriatic Sea, on the coast between the rivers Marecchia (the ancient Ariminus) and Ausa (ancient Aprusa). It is one of the most famous seaside resorts in Europe, thanks to its 15 kilometers .

From Bologna Airport u need transfer to Rimini (130 km ),Train, bus or rent a car .I will recommend the car bcz u can visit other city's and is cheap ,around 170 EUROfor 7 days (depends on car type).

This is perhaps the most touristy place I have seen in my life. The long avenue is Rimini's artery of tourism (together with the Lungomare and the Viale Regina Elena) with hundreds of HOTELS, clubs, restaurants and shops. Here, you can buy the usual stuff like souvenirs and postcards, but also clothing, including all kind of real and replica soccer shirts.

Food is relatively inexpensive and if you go with the local specialty, the piadina, you can stuff yourself for only several euros a meal. Piadina is a thin flat-bread that they fill with a variety of meats and cheeses, or even sweet versions like Nutella.

One particular aspect of the Rimini cuisine is a popular ritual followed when preparing fish soup, the same as when it used to be cooked on the boats, with a thick tomato sauce, strongly flavored with vinegar and blackened with pepper. The non plus ultra of seafood cooking is grilled fish, brushed with olive OIL and lightly sprinkled with breadcrumbs and a pinch of fresh parsley.

If you love the sweet wine u should definitely try Moscato ,the best wine i ever tried :)

If You Need a New Hairstyle try HAIR FASHION KATY DI SEMPRINI ,the most beautiful hair stylist and my new friend ,lovely woman.

What to visit near to Rimini :

-San Marino is well worth the visit!20 km far from Rimini (30mins with car). There are many attractions once you cross the border! Shopping, scenery, gastronomy, philately numismatics, celebrations, events, monuments, museums, works of art and typical tourist spots. Entering into the Country is simple since, for tourism purposes, no passports are required. San Marino Pick In the territory of the antique white and azure flag of the Republic of San Marino shopping is easy with the utilization of the EURO.

A patrimony for humanity, The view from the Towers is incredible:a terrace with a splendid view of the Romagna Coast on one side and the ancient Republic on the other.

-Riccione is quite close to Rimini – about 10-15 minutes by car or you can take the train as well. At night, party people spill from the open-air discos onto the beach, creating a surreal sort of everlasting outdoor party.

Shopping in Riccione gives also an occasion to walk in the pedestrian zone, where it is easy to discover outlets of best fashion houses that sell last season’s models at reduced prices. If anyone wishes to feel even more glamorous, likes to be up to date with what they wear or simply wants to taste the pleasure of bringing highest quality product home, there is nothing else to do but visit one of the Riccione's many shops and boutiques, open up till late.

Cristallo, Riccione - the best restaurant .This is a really nice place to have a meal in comparison with other restaurants in this area. The dishes are good. I liked tuna very much. The staff are very polite and nice people. Prices are very reasonable, what is very pleasant that the service is not included in the bill .

P.S. :They have a small problem with english, u should learn few basic italian words or use the body language :))

Italy the one and only love ,La Vita e Bella!;)

Rimini is a great city. The views were fantastic. We took so many photos. But the beach was a disappointment because it was not free. It is a pity that while in Rimini, I dreamt of the free, huge beaches of Spain. It is not fair for Rimini to turn everything into pure business. The 15-km beach of Rimini is a hoax, there is only a small part of it that one can enjoy for free. What a waste...
