Elisa was a guide with charm and humor. As good as she knew the people we visited as good she knew the products. She entertained me the whole day with funny stories, a lot of history and backgrounds and tought me maybe more about the products as some product specialists do. And I visited some food production facilities before. The special thing here was also that I was really in the middle of the production process and not only a visitor behind a glass wall. This was really special. It was a full day great experience at 3 different production sites with tastings, so I consider the price to be fair. I can totally recommend Elisa's tour.

The food tour was excellent! The guide, Elisa, helped us to discover the secrets behind famous foods of the region. It’s obvious she is really passionate about the subject and it’s easy to share the passion with her. How could you not - delicious parmiggiano reggiano, striking parma ham, and for the conclusion: black gold in form of traditional balsamic vinegar. Highly recommended for all food enthusiasts!

I went on the full-day tour in December of 2019, and it was the highlight of my nearly two weeks in Europe. There was only one other person on the tour that day besides myself, and our guide Elisa took extra time to answer questions and provide worthwhile information. All of the stops on the tour were very informative and interesting, and the ability to purchase cheese, butter, and balsamic vinegar was welcomed as well, particularly for the people who received these items as Christmas gifts. As I sit and write this review four months of the trip, in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, I am hopeful that Elisa and the other people at Maestro are safe and healthy and that they can keep offering these tours in the future. I certainly will be signing up for a tour again the next time I am able to visit that part of the world.
