We recently spent a fantastic Sunday morning with Laura who guided us around a Parmiggiano Reggiano factory and a balsamic vinegar accetaia. We were fascinated by the process of cheese making and hugely impressed by the factory owners dedication, passion for his cheese and sheer hard work. Laura is extremely well informed about the whole process and answered all of... More

We just spent a wonderful and informative day with Laura learning about Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, Lambrusco, prosciutto, and balsamic vinegar. She is a very personable and knowledgeable guide. My 17 year old nephew accompanied us and thought the day was very enjoyable. This is a great activity for any one who is interested in the food and wine of Italy.

My husband and I spent a day with Laura touring the various food and beverage producers of Parma, including parmiggiano, prosciutto, Lambrusco wine, balsamic vinegar, and a delicious lunch. Laura is very nice, very friendly, and super knowledgable. We tasted and bought a lot of delicious treats and the tour was definitely the highlight of our time in Italy.

This was a really fantastic tour! We are a discerning bunch of foodies and Laura was very knowledgeable and took us behind the scenes to some really wonderful places. It was also much better value that other tours we looked at. Highly recommended!

The answer is simple: Laura's tour will provide a personalized, individualized and more intimate experience. You go only with your own party, whether you are a couple (like us) or a family rather than being with a bunch of strangers and a company that sees what they're doing as a business rather than a friendly encounter. Being with Laura for... More

We booked our tour with Laura and she picked us up at the hotel on time. We travelled about 30 min to our first stop the cheesefactory. Laura is born and lived in Parma all her Life and there was no questions that she could not answer. I have done similar tours in different places and have to say that... More

Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, Prosciutto (and other meats) and Balsamic Vinegar - these are the food highlights of the Parma region. Laura is friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable about this region having lived in Parma her entire life. She has personal relationships with all the places we visited which made this tour more meaningful. When a process could not be personally... More

Laura's tour gets you off the beaten trail and into the production rooms of the people who make some of the best food in the world. She compliments the site visits with video on her i-pad to show additional aspects of production. We were fortunate to talk to the owners in each location as well as taste their delicious food.... We were taken from our hotel to the tour and enjoyed parmeggiano cheesemaking, artisanal meatprocessing (coppa, culatello and ham) and making of fine aceto balsamico tradizionale di Reggio Emilia with Laura as a guide capable of speaking German as well as English. Not only she explained the traditional processes in an understandable way, she also made us feel part of... More
