Angelo was a great tour guide and gracious host. Nick handled the booking promptly and efficiently. The sites selected for manufacturing the three foods Parma Reggiano cheese, Prosciutto and Balsamic condiment were appropriate. The lunch at a country trattoria was homely and delicious.

We had a great time with the Parma Food n Wine tours last year in Italy. The tour was well organized, knowledgeable and enjoyable. Joining this tour is a very good and direct way to learn about the food industry in Parma!

Alicia took us to the various makers--prosciutto, parma ham, lunch, and balsamic vinegar. We had to drive --due to the international rules, but she was the perfect direction giver, --in backseat no less (she insisted on staying in back of our rental). Her knowledge, the wonderful places she took us, her rapport with the makers, (all DOC and organic by... More

Hi there, Yes Alicia is awesome and we do collaborate on projects and support each other! But this review was meant for her own Tripadvisor page at Exploraemilia Day Tours... I have notified Alice and wish you all the best in getting this valuable review moved across. Nick FWT More

My husband and I have long been lovers of the great artisan foods of Italy. We now have a new appreciation for the work and expertise of how these foods are created and brought to our table. Angelo was our guide on the Kings tour and was very delightful and well versed on each of the different foods. The scenery... More

We've travelled Italy a few times now and this tour was by far the best experience we've had. A fantastic day spent meeting amazing people and trying the best food Parma has to offer. The lunch we had at Angelo's favorite little restaurant was incredible and we ended up buying some of the best desert wine there. We had the... More

Angelo's favorite little restaurant is just one of the secrets we spring on you during the course of the day!! Yep we have some surprises that we dare not publish because as market influencers we'll get copied - so rest assured it's even better than the real thing! And always... yes look forward to seeing you in the future and... More

Look at my profile. I've been around the word and back. We've had many tours, but few as great as with Angelo. He really makes it special. He knows all the dishes, the ingredients, can tell you all about the area (he grew up there) and brings you to special spots to show you what real life is like. I... More

My husband and I took this tour last summer with another couple. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Bologna. It is an entire day of food and fun. You start at a Parma cheese plant where you will learn all the steps in making the cheese, you will also see thousands of cheese rounds. You will... More

We cannot say enough about the quality of the Three Kings Tour! The tour, led by Angelo, took us to see how Parmasean Reggiano cheese (the undisputed king of all cheeses ) is made. Fascinating! We then went to a great lunch and wine tasting at a vineyard. Next we went to see how Parma ham (prosciutto de Parma) was... More

Angela many thanks for your wonderful review. Delighted you enjoyed our Vegetarian tour which takes in the Vineyard tour rather than the Ham destination. Angelo is a super hero! But I have to also say that Alice, Giulia and Amalda are marvelous guides - have a great reflection on our tour and hopefully like fine wine... Nick and team FWT! More

We found Parma FWT’s “3 Kings Tour” based on positive reviews on TA. The tour - visiting an area cheese maker, a Parma ham producer and a balsamic vinegar estate - turned out to be even better than we expected.
