Met Angelo at our meetingpoint with 3 others and he rode with us. First stop was the parmesan factory, then to the wineyard where we had an amazing lunch with great wine of course. Me and my wife bought 5 bottles of assorted wines, and when we got the case we saw it was 6 bottles there and we made... More

Our great time on the Parma tour. We met Angelo and he rode with us in our car which was great. He is such an informative guy and very funny. We were able to speak to him in Italian which was also good, but he does speak English very well. We first went to the Parma Reggiano factory which was... More

The difference between this tour and others we met during the day and shows the quality of this one is that we spent a couple of hours at the Parmazan manufacture in order to follow the whole process and other tours went in listened to the explanation and went on. Angelo, the guide speaks fluent English and as graduate of... More

Lovely review and yep - there is a difference. Without bragging because we respect all guides in Parma even those at 'Discover' without full certification. But for sure we reward our guides as they deserve. I was a guide for 5 years with another great Parma agency and was forced to start FWT simply because I wanted to do things... More

It's easy to look at the ratings for this tour and say something looks fishy, but I can assure you that this more than lives up to expectations. We spent a fantastic day on the three kings tour. Angelo is a wonderful guide with an excellent command of English and takes his time to explain the production processes of the... More

6 stars love it!! Fishy!! In the very early days we had trouble getting our first 5 reviews up on TA because we're sure they thought they were put up and not for real. Everything in FWT is for real. We love what we do. ;) FWT More

Took the tour with my husband and we got a private tour. Our guide Amalda was amazing, her English was better than most Italians I spoke with, she knew what she was talking about. Amalda was nice and kept an eye on us; she understood exactly what we were interested in. The tour itself was very informative and it was... More

Amalda is our special gal on the vine!! Very relaxed but with a veritable Lexicon of knowledge for those academics who sometimes taste the treasures. But yes an important feedback about how it goes at your pace and how we aren't pushy for sales... we don't earn commission from sales so as to keep the experience purely about what you... More

We decided to take this tour...something that I had wanted to do for several years. Our tour guide, Angelo, was incredible...beyond words. His worldly experience makes him an excellent storyteller...his passion for food, tourism and conversation led the entire day. He provided information, tips and suggestions throughout the day as went from cheese to prosciutto and finally vinegar factories. During... More

Angelo was a great tour guide and gracious host. Nick handled the booking promptly and efficiently. The sites selected for manufacturing the three foods Parma Reggiano cheese, Prosciutto and Balsamic condiment were appropriate. The lunch at a country trattoria was homely and delicious.

We had a great time with the Parma Food n Wine tours last year in Italy. The tour was well organized, knowledgeable and enjoyable. Joining this tour is a very good and direct way to learn about the food industry in Parma!

Alicia took us to the various makers--prosciutto, parma ham, lunch, and balsamic vinegar. We had to drive --due to the international rules, but she was the perfect direction giver, --in backseat no less (she insisted on staying in back of our rental). Her knowledge, the wonderful places she took us, her rapport with the makers, (all DOC and organic by... More

My husband and I have long been lovers of the great artisan foods of Italy. We now have a new appreciation for the work and expertise of how these foods are created and brought to our table. Angelo was our guide on the Kings tour and was very delightful and well versed on each of the different foods. The scenery... More
