We had an amazing food tour with Angelo as our guide. He is extremely knowledgeable on all things food, wine, and Parma! Due to COVID, tours and tourists have been very limited, but thankfully, Angelo arranged for us to visit a parmigiano reggiano caseificio (cheese factory) and a traditional family production of balsamic vinegar (acetaia). Afterward, we took the scenic route, with beautiful views of the hills near Parma, to a restaurant in the Castello di Torrechiara. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend to all my friends!

We spent the whole day in Parma, guided by our very own dear Angelo, the sweetest guide ever. He really enjoys what he does, he shares his experience and knowledge about food, wine, Italy, life..!! Our tour to a parmagiano cheese factory, a prosciutto factory and to an agritourism restaurante/village was incredible and priceless. We really enjoyed every minute and would go back on our next visit. Please, enjoy!!!'

We spent a day with this company visiting the parmesan cheese factory, Parma ham production as well as a Balsamic Vinegar place and it was outstanding. Angelo was extremely friendly and very very informative. He explained all the manufacturing process in great detail and we got to sample top quality products at every spot. The tour group was small which allowed for more interaction with Angelo. They mention every detail in advance and there are no hidden costs. The lunch at the vineyard restaurant was delicious and one of the best food we had in Italy. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone.Must do if your in Parma

My husband and I planned our entire vacation around the Alba International White Truffle Fair, and Parma was our second stop before heading to Alba. This was a wonderful way to experience the best the region has to offer. Angelo was an amazing tour guide with a wealth of knowledge that took us to the best places at the most opportune times. For instance, the tour started at 8:30 a.m. so that we could get to the parmesan cheese factory by 9 a.m. while they were still making the cheese and really get the full experience. Plus, our group of four and another group of two were the only people there! By the time we left the factory at 10:30 a.m., it was far more crowded and the cheese-making itself was done. We then went to a family-run parma ham factory where we enjoyed a wonderful tray of the most buttery prosciutto I've ever had. After that, we went to an off-the-path restaurant and winery where we had a private dining experience with two types of pasta, wine, tiramisu and coffee, all for $15! Finally, we ended with balsamic vinegar, trying three different kinds that make you realize you had no idea how good balsamic could be. Of our two-week trip, which included a visit to Osteria Francescana, this was one of the best experiences we had. I highly recommend it!

Angelo was a fantastic guide for our tour through Parma. The tour arranged was perfect, with stops at smaller, traditional high quality producers. We were the only group touring these places and he is granted amazing access to the facilities. His explanations of the processes were excellent, with an obvious passion for the products and region. The tastings at each stop were excellent. The lunch stop he arrange was also really enjoyable, with a great view. The booking process and communication prior to the tour with Nick and Angelo was also fantastic and straight forward. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about the tour. I would highly recommend if you are near Parma.

Yep you're right he's renowned for being the best and most experienced guide. There's a few newcomers in the tour marketplace but if you really care about your vacation memories and want genuine depth of knowledge and a quality day then you're definitely in the best hands with Angelo at FWT. Nick
