I arranged for a full day tour with driver. Monica was our guide. So knowledgable and excellent English. Guido was our driver and was superb. Took all of the stress out of the day. We learned so much about how parmigiano reggiano, prosciutto Di Parma is made, we met the owner of a vineyard who is experimenting with ways of... More

We wanted to know more about Emilia-Romagna food joys and we decided to do a one day tour. All tour stops were excellent: very nice places, very good products and very nice people. We had a small problem (probably due to the fact that we asked for changes in the tour) but we were rapdly contacted by Food Valley Travel... More

Absolutely great job by our tour guide Elena! We visited the Parmigiano-Reggiano and Prosciutto de Parma facilities and it was amazing. Topped off with a fantastic lunch at the winery. Sara the representative from Food Valley Gourmet Tours contacted me multiple times and was always there to answer questions. If your a foodie or in the hospitality industry, I highly... More

We had a private tour with Elena in our rental car. First we went to a Parmesan factory, then on to visit a prosciutto de Parma production facility. We stopped for pictures & lunch at the Castle of Torrechiara which was beautiful. Finally, we went to taste balsamic. Everyone at all the factories & the restaurant were super nice and... More

We planned for a few days in Parma, during which the private Gourmet tour was definitely a highlight of the trip. Sara was our guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate. A thought came to my mind that Sara must have worked in the factories before to know all the details. In fact she should only know the owners in... More

My wife and I took a private food tour with a guide and driver and had a wonderful time. The visits to to see cheese production and parma ham production were very interesting and the lunch at the winery was terrific. Guide was very good.

Food Valley provided us with a very knowledgable tour guide named Elena and a great private driver. Elena answered our many questions!! Loved the tour of the cheese factory. The staff at the factory were happy to show us how they make their product. This tour had been on our list for many years and now we've experienced it! Very... More

For the second year in a row we used Food Valley Travel to help organize a trip for 14 people. It was a business related trip and it meant bringing together a number of people who had not been to Italy before, and who did not necessarily know each other before the trip. Food Valley did a fantastic job of... More
