Monet exhibition
Sep 2020 • Couples
If this art exhibition is still on it is definitely worth a visit if you are interested in the Impressionists. The English guide was excellent. The pictures all come from the Marmottan Monet gallery in Paris. We spent just over an hour going round, enjoying looking at the pictures. With social distancing only a few people are allowed in each room at any one time, so you can see the pictures easily. It is worth booking.

Nice Chagal Exhibit
Oct 2019 • Couples
We apparently went at the right time about 2pm as we were able to walk right in. The Chagal Exhibit was good but as others have said, not great.
We enjoyed it but if a few tour buses are there it would be awfully uncomfortable.

Disappointing
Oct 2019 • Couples
If you are familiar with Chagall's work and especially if you have been to his gallery in Nice you will find this exhibition underwhelming. Most of the works are prints with only a few of the wonderfully coloured paintings. Pick a quiet time to go, the gallery is unable to cope with even moderate crowds. This is because the exhibition rooms are small and organised tour groups make comfortable viewing quite difficult because they leave no space for viewing.

Grim queue... draining
Sep 2019 • Couples
The queue is frankly disgraceful, over an hour. I would suggest you advance book or don’t bother, unless you like queueing! Taken all fun out of the exhibition. They need to have a better system, as in buy your ticket, with a time slot, so you can at least go and get a drink while you wait for your time! It isn’t rocket science .
Picture of our delightful queue..

Warhol in the palace
Jun 2019 • Couples
We did not get the audio guide - which worked out fine - since their signage was both in Italian abc English. The exhibit was fine - but heads up there is no air conditioning - which I was surprised for the works of art. You can not take water into the museum - but you can store it in a locker fit no charge.

Good place to visit on a wet day if the exhibition is to your liking.
May 2019 • Couples
The Albergati Palace dates back to the 1500’s and today inside its impressive exterior frontage it houses an art gallery which holds changing art installations and exhibitions.
We had a wet weather day whilst in town so decided to visit here for the Warhol & Friends exhibition which chronicles the work of Andy Warhol and other influential artists of the New York City’s art scene during the period of the 1980s. The exhibition is spread over two floors and includes several works by artists of the period such as Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Julian Schnabel, Jeff Koons as well as several Warhol pieces.
It was well presented and laid out and this is a fine period building in which to visit an art exhibition.

Fantastic
Feb 2019 • Friends
We were in Bologna for a concert and visited the exhibition whilst there. We were surprised how good it was, so informative and much more than just photos/ pictures. Great insight into the life and times of Andy Warhol, short films, photos and loads of info.
Stunning pictures in an amazing setting.
A must see before it closes early 2019.

Warhol visit
Oct 2018 • Couples
Visited this Palazzo gallery to see the Andy Warhol exhibition, which was superb. The gallery itself is well laid out and well worth a visit in its own right. 15minutes walk away from Piazza Maggiore on via Saragozza, it could easily be forgotten / missed

Beautiful palace. Fabulous exhibition
Oct 2018 • Couples
We visited this palace to see the WARHOL AND FRIENDS exhibition. The art on display was just marvellous. Beautifully curated Worth visiting definitely. At the same time you’ll see many superbly painted ceilings that hark back to the glory of the palace itself

Wow
Dec 2017 • Family
I have been there for a private wedding party and it was simply amazing. In my opinion is one of the best palaces in Italy. The paintings all over the rooms are stunning while the architecture itself is awful. Really good party and really good food, I assume is pretty expensive but it was one of the best wedding parties I ever partecipate!
