If you love your food a trip here is an absolute definite, fantastic local produce especially fruit and veg as well as fish. Lunch in the market cafe is highly recommended also. Puts borough market into a big shade.

This market has the most beautiful and well displayed fruit and vegetables I’ve seen in recent times. Vivid red and enormous strawberries, wonderful tomatoes and all sorts of unusual salad items. I could have lingered here for hours and not got bored. If you come...More

What a treat it is to see so many varieties of fruits, vegetables, meat and fish at such reasonable prices. There are also food stalls on the side for a quick slice of pizza.

This was the first stop on a food tour I took in Bologna. The fruit and vegetable market is impressive but don't miss the "street food" stalls tucked away along the sides of the market. There are some great snacks here.

A friend who lives here took me to the place and it was nice to see all the ingredients of Italian cuisine lined up so nicely. We went to the food court where we had pizza.

Really nice place to have a good lunch/dinner....or just to hang out with some nice wine. Amazing panini, focaccia, tasty local wine, and smiling staff! Everything you might need is directly here :-)

I make sure to visit the local market whenever I go to a new city. It tells you the way the locals live, cook and eat. Mercato delle Erbe is a small but very nicely displayed market. You can also buy veggies, cheese and other...More

Yes, although at busy times the alleyways you use to get there are full of people and chairs from nearby bars and restaurants. Despite this there is room. Once inside again, it is busy but there is no reason why wheelchairs... More
