Nice place to buy clothes and shoes in a very low price. I bought few clothes in funny prices. The quality is very good.

There are a few shoe and bag stalls but the quality is not very good. However, I found one... More

Went on Friday noon. Loads of stalls, about half selling clothes, most used. Perfect bargain hunting. Follow shops up north and into the park.

Huge Friday and Saturday market which fills the square. Very cheap stalls selling items for 50 cents and €1, full of people rummaging. Other stalls as well selling end of line items, etc. Avoid if you don't like lots of people in confined spaces! Locals shop here.

We were looking for a food market - which this is not (on a February Saturday). Possibly some good clothes in there somewhere - it is a very big space.

From Friday morning to Saturday evening, hundreds of stalls. Many leaders used, many in very good condition. Many stalls with extravagant clothes. Many stalls of merchandise in stock.

This area is worth a wander anyway but the market is huge so great if you're into such things. It's very much a local market but would satisfy travellers too with ponchos, belts and wallets, bags and scarves. Across the road is just one street of more artisan stuff. Further up towards the station the stalls extend into the park... More

The market here is not an artisan market, but rather a regular market selling clothes, bags, food stuffs etc. which seems to be frequented by the locals.

We walked past here every day we were in Bologna and the people try to sell you their wares. It is not such a great place but I certainly had a look. Unfortunately there was nothing that I needed to clutter up my suitcase with. Only if you are passing have a look.
