The tour was in English and Italian. The microphones were poor quality so having to listen to the Italian version after each time she gave her speech in English, was annoying and also time wasting. When we asked in the office for the English tour...More

Last October 27 at 16:45 we took a tour to visit Bologna. We were very disappointed with this tour. All in all, we felt that this was one of the worst TOURS that we have taken, in our life.  She showed no enthusiasm while talking about the...More

Poor value. Couldn't hear the commentary because of the loud background music on the tape. The tape was also frequently out of sync with what could be seen.

We booked the Bologna city tour at the tourist information with no trouble at all. The tour was in both Italian and English, we had headphones and there were about ten people on the tour. Our Italian guide was knowledgeable and amusing and gave a...More

Normally I would run a mile from any open top bus tour but as we had a senior with us we went. From the start my opinion was changed, a gentle 2 or so hour tour of not only central Bologna but the outskirts and...More

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The commentary was insightful and interesting and interspersed with Vivaldi's music. All very relaxing and a lovely way to see Bologna. Be sure to check the times of the bus as there is a big gap in the service around...More

No, no free walking tour. But you can take the tour from the tourism office in Plaza Maggiore for 15 euros. I really enjoyed it
