When travelling in Italy, we try and set out all the churches, museums and places of significance to see.
This church was hardly ever open during our stay, and in our final attempt it was open but due to close about 20 mins later.
The basilica is nice, and what makes it particular is that one can see the connection between science and arts (and religion).This is materialized by a line on the floor which is a meridian (and shows the date at the moment of the local noon).
