We went there during an open house event, unfortunately this made us wait in front of the entrance for like an hour until we managed to get in. Without any question the library is beautiful but if you have seen similar libraries before it won't...More

Who would think of visiting a library but it is amazing - please go. Inside are plaques from many wealthy students over hundreds of years, the anatomy theatre and an mazing collection of books etc. Fantastic architecture too.

I do not know whether there are tours: A friend took me there, showing the university of Bologna. For sure there you can find the secretary which can answer to your questions.
