Beautiful Palazzo neat the Two Towers in Bologna city center. Worth checking out and taking some photos

Built in 1382 the age of this palace is apparent as you walk into the square. Old yes. Beautiful definitely. The lines are just so elegant. And the timber is so interesting. Just imagine how much history of the city has been played out in...More

Possibly the most arresting example of late Gothic architecture, this palazzo continues to draw one's eyes to it (as do the various late medieval houses nearby).

People walk past this all the time without realising its history. It is definitely worth a look. Find about it before you visit so you can appreciate it.

Bologna may not seem like it has much to offer...until you hit the main plaza. Great area filled with stores and restaurants. Amazing architecture and history.

Interesting building and a very nice area to explore with lots of shops and restaurants. Areas to sit and people watch also.

Home to the official width of tagliatelle but all you can see is 1 room and 1 staircase so maybe pop your head in for 5 minutes

The city centre is pretty small, so you'll eventually find yourself here even if you hadn't planned on it- and you'll be glad you did. The architecture and wall paintings are worth it alone!
