Phenomenal tour which cannot be missed if you're traveling through Bologna or Modena. As a result of this tour, I have a deep knowledge of how to distinguish between superior and inferior quality Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, balsamic vinegar IGP and DOP, and prosciutto DOP. I'll be able to apply this knowledge in perusing and shopping for these culinary delicacies. The tour guide Alessandro was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the region, the amazing culinary specialties, and the Italian wine. The breakfast and the huge lunch was fabulous: 3 types of Modena prosciutto DOP, 3 types of pasta, balsamic vinegar DOP, tiramisu dessert, and Italian Lambrusco wine. Phenomenal value for this all-day tour which includes transportation.

we enjoyed everything about this tour, Allesandro was so passionate about the food and really wanted us to understand the history at each of our stops. Could not have been more impressed with the care and commitment at each of the factories. We were a group of seven joined by others to make a total 20 and we all felt part of a big family. The lunch at the end was superb !!! Do not miss this tour !

Really not much more to say than... amazing. The three tour sites are great, host is so passionate, and food was great. We are a family of 4 (two teen girls) and we all absolutely loved it!

This tour was amazing, informative and so much fun. Alessandro is so entertaining and knowledgeable. All 3 stops plus the lunch were delicious and well planned. We learned so much about each product. There was no pressure to buy anything but the products available were great. His tour guide Riccardo at the pork products factory still needs a little experience on his presentation but he was delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute and it was worth every euro! We recommend to everyone. It was the highlight of our trip to Italy.
