Seriously, run do not walk to sign up for this tour! It was hands down the highlight of our 2 week trip around Italy. We had an absolute blast with our tour guide Alessandro who made it a great time for everyone involved the entire way through. He is passionate about what he does and it shows! At each of... More

This tour is a must do, it will mark your trip since you get to get so close to the real italy food life. The Parmiggiano, Balsamico, prosciutto and wine make up some of Italy's best foods. My friends and I enjoyed it. Let me just say this if you only care about the wine, that's enough for you to... More

A wonderful tour of the Emilia-Romagna area where I was introduced to the methods of crafting the world renowned products that Italy is famous for. The tour began in Bologna with the option to be picked up from your hotel or train station which, I may say, was extremely convenient. We toured a Parmesan cheese cooperative followed by a small... Great food tour of cheese, balsamic vinegar and prosciutto!! The guide was fabulous as was the Mercedes van. Lunch was a 5 course extravaganza at a winery. Highly recommend. My only comment is that the group was two sets of 8 and it was a bit hard to hear in the cheese factory.

This was honestly one of the best tours I've ever taken and that's saying a lot because I'm not really a tour type of person. IMO, Alessandro is the best tour guide on the planet. His enthusiasm is infectious even at 7am when the tour begins. What's truly remarkable is that he probably does this tour every day, 7 days... More

We only had 2 nights, one and a half days to see Bologna, so decided tours were the way to go. We did a 3 hour walking tour on the first afternoon and this really gave us a feel for this lovely city. The second day we spent the day with Alessandro, Italian Days Food Experience. It was a very... More

You eat so much food on this tour that you just about explode- but it's all so delicious you can't stop! They never stop feeding you, pouring your wine, you get to taste delicious Parmesan, the freshest ricotta, 25 year old balsamic vinegar, a delicious lunch and the tour guides are lovely. Everyone else on the tour was really nice... More

The tour guide, Fabio, was excellent and fabulous to spend the day with. The food tasting was a wonderful experience for our taste buds, as well as for our knowledge. Everything was excellent, from the driver, to Fabio, the factories, the tasting, explanation, and most especially the 'light' lunch. I don't think we've ever eaten so much delicious Italian food.... I was only one full day in Bologna and chose to book this all day food tour. I am delighted that I did. Alessandro is knowledgable and entertaining. The tour was fabulous. I was picked up at the door of my hotel and our first stop was the Parmesano-Reggiano cheese factory. After a thorough tour of the factory that makes... More
