Steet honoring John Lennon is worth seeing

May 2023

This street now has a tribute to John Lennon based on the song Imagine. Walking up and down brought back fond memories of this song and visiting the street, which is very close to Piazza Maggiore is worthwhile. There are interesting shops, cafes and restaurants along the way. The text of the song lights up at night.

The street now honors John Lennon and Imagine in neon lights all up and down the road. Fun to walk and sing along with each line. A fun street to visit anyway.

Lovely street for strolling and shopping

Via Massimo D'Azeglio is pretty central, near the main square, and it's full of beautiful buildings and nice shops. Even if you don't plan to go there to see Lucio Dalla's house, I would recommend you walk it on your way to wherever you're going.
