From the "Fortezza" as it is called, you have a wonderful view over Urbino, the Duke palace and the Duomo. Families come to let the kids play and there is a bar that helps surviving the hot summer. The play ground for kids and overall...More

We weren't disappointed, because the view over Urbino is spectacular from the parco. This is good for the end of the visit of Urbino, because the surroundings are not that interesting.

But worth it for the view back toward the city and the Ducal Palace. It’s also a spot for young lovers to make out a bit and the scent of marijuana may be in the air as well. Don’t be put off by those things,...More

Situated in front of the Albornoz fortress, the park offers a refreshing stop while visiting Urbino, and a fantastic view of the city and its architectural wonders.

It is an oasis of peace with incomparable sights, a rolling lawn strewn with fruit trees, modern sculptures, a playground and the forbidding Albornoz fortress closing it on the west side. Very popular with tourists and locals.

Walking up here is half the fun. You have to go through little lanes and alleys to get up here. It's quite a walk, mind you. But you get rewarded with great views of Urbino and it's surroundings. Definitely worth it!

Beutiful park with great view on the Urbino. There are places to sit, have coffee and a lot of activities for children. There were so many cherry trees with cherries on them and people just pick them casually, no one gets mad if you eat...More
