The central square of the seafront is elegant, neat, the right conclusion of the many noble villas that make up the road to get there. The fountain on which the “Tomato Ball” rests is clean, it looks like a mirror. Particularly impressive in the evening, when everything is reflected on the water, including the lights of the adjacent Ferris wheel and, if you are lucky, even the double reflection of the moon on the sea and the fountain.

Original, but nothing more.
Summer is a place where chaos reigns. Too bad, if this city was a little better administered, it would be much more pleasant. For accommodation, there are only very mediocre and very noisy hotels. The only attraction is the Rossini festival. When it's over you have to flee Pesaro.
The local philosophy is to let the young people make noise all night so that they don't go to Rimini.

In the past, Pomodoro had not thrilled me but, little by little, I changed my mind and this work confirmed it. Located in the center of a body of water, in turn in the center of a square in front of the seafront, it is immediately admired for its stylistic cleanliness, which gives a touch of elegance to the square. The contrast with the nearby Villino Ruggeri (on the side) is inevitable which, despite being very very nice in its Art Nouveau style, perhaps loses out a little in this comparison... I would say one of the obligatory stops to make if you visit Pesaro.

We were in town for another purpose and happened upon the Sfera Grande di Pomodoro. The infinity pool/fountain surrounding the sculpture was unique and the sculpture interesting. I’m not certain of the cultural significance or sculptor, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go see it.

Absolutely a place to visit, if in Pesaro. Especially in the Spring/Summer. Sit at a bar and enjoy the view/sea breeze.

The sculpture is situated in the middle of a very nice park, with grass and trees and benches. You can lounge directly on the grass in the shade of the trees when the heat is to much.

We walked by this attraction every day when we were heading to the town centre.
The dome reflects beautifully into the water, and looks different throughout the day very pretty.

The water it stands on covers the whole circle as if the sphere stands and does not have anything holding it from rolling. I love the beautiful reflection on it in the afternoon.

Lovely little square opposite the beach. There is plenty of places to sit and a few little eateries. Nice place to sit and people watch.
