my granddaughter and I really enjoyed our visit to the Vatican Daniela matched the pace to my great age . we still managed to see all we wanted to see even laocoon in spite of the crowds. my granddaughter was very impressed by the church, and our guide was able to answer all her questions. a thoroughly enjoyable visit.

If you are visiting Vatican City and want to learn and have fun a guided tour with Angelo is a must! On approaching the Vatican City we were astounded by the size and knew we needed to join a tour. We avoided the large queues and we well looked after. Thankfully we found What a Life Tours and we had... More

I can say without a doubt that our guide Marcello is amazing. It is not the intricate knowledge, one would expect that and there is plenty there, it is the passion with which he tells the story. That part is real. I personally don't do tours, this was first class and I think that I may be disappointed from here... More

I really enjoyed the 2 hour tour and our guide was Antonio. He was really excellent, good mixture of knowledge of sense of humour! There were so many people but with the assistance of Antonio it was bearable! Thanks again!

We were approached on the street by a what a life rep who convinced us to take the tour, we thought great skip the queue. Our tour guide Angelo was amazing giving us lots of information and making it fun not once did this feel like a museum tour it was exciting and we learned a lot about Michelangelo and... More

We bumped into a representative on the street, not knowing what to expect but followed the manager to the tour guide anyway. We were hooked within 2 mins! Firstly you dont pay for the first section of the tour, which gives you a healthy dose of information on the Vatican already and also gives you a chance to decide whether... More

At the beginning of the tour the headset we were given by the company wasn't working properly. Our tour guide Angelo was funny but was making remarks that was not suitable around young kids.

Thank you for sharing your review! We certainly agree that Angelo is awesome! We are so lucky to have him on our team, as he is one of Rome's most sort after guides. With his background also in acting, he often makes the tour quite theatrical which makes for an entertaining experience. More

Absolutely worth every penny! Our tour with Ana helped put everything we saw into context: we definitely came out of it with a greater appreciation than we would have ever gotten on our own. She was our favourite guide through the 3 tours we did in Italy. She was even kind enough to walk us to one of the many... More

We were very pleased with the decision to go on an early morning skip-the-line tour. We were able to get into the Sistine Chapel early and see it before it got crowded (we passed through again later on the tour and it was standing room only and seemed quite uncomfortable). Our guide was knowledgeable, informative, and she was really good... More
