The crowd around this magnificent sculpture was about 4 deep. So to see it at its best you need to squeeze in and be patient. Alternatively if you are really tall, then you are ok. Our guide said that the unnamed Greek sculptor was considered...More

This is just one (but certainly top 5) of a number of magnificent sculptures within the Vatican. But should be seen.

There are 4 major sculptures by Michaelangelo in Rome, Lecanto and his sons, the Pieta, Moses, and Christ Reedemer. Try to go see them all. Truly the work of a true artistic genius.

St Peters treasures are worth the visit. What absolutely beautiful statues and when we heard the story of the legend Michaelangelo creating the "arm" that was lost...he did it so precisely that when the arm was found it was exactly the same

a disappointing visit , actually a waste of time and money (7 Eur). I expected to see plenty of jewels, of gold and the like. In reality - unless I missed some rooms - it was not glamorous at all. Additionally, you cannot take pictures.
