You will found Piazza di Siena in the middle of the park of villa Borghese. It's lovely even in autumn, cold but the sky was blue, beautiful!!! I found it when I take little train ride for €3 spin around the park. Love the train ride!!

We were lucky enough to be spectators of the International Horse Show. The grounds were beautiful. The flowers blooming all over giving off a wonderful fragrance. We bought tickets for the first day which gave us front row seats(real chairs). We came the last day and sat on the old built in stone stadium benches. We made a picnic of it. Brought a blanket and hand fans. It is very warm and humid this time of year. I hope to return again next year.

This is basically a Horse track inside the Villa Borghese park but is well worth a look as you wonder through this lovely location.

Piazza di Siena is a Circus Maximus like race track in the park. You can’t walk there as it is mainly used for equestrian sport.

With the duration of our stay we were looking for a greener part of Rome. From the tourist map we found out this place. We tried to figure out how we can reached the place.

We were able to reach up to Porta Pinciana leading to the nice cooler part of Rome. Inside is a bigger and wider space for a nice relaxing walk, no traffic, lots of trees. and benches to stop and breath for a while.

In that time the area was peaceful no crowd at all. That was our pleasant and restful stop so far.

We were enjoying a pleasant walk through the park after visiting the Galleria Borghese when we stumbled upon a major equestrian competition taking place in the Piazza di Siena. It provided a very pleasant diversion and the walk is mainly downhill. We also found a very enjoyable coffee stop.

Very nice square in the center of Villa Borghese gardens, well known for the competitions in equestrian dressage and jumping. A great place for taking a stroll or resting while visiting the gardens and the Borghese Gallery.

Home to the very famous international riding competition, this green space is located within the equally green park of Villa Borghese.
