Full day Rome Golf Cart tour

It would be far too easy for us to just show you the Colosseum or the Pantheon. With this tour we do not only want to show you the most admired town squares and monuments of Rome but rather make you a part of it! We have integrated places that will bring the Rome that we Romans know and love, places that we consider to have the most energy and vigour such as Campo dei Fiori with its famous colourful market, the small alleys of the Jewish Ghetto with its inns, antique dealers, tailors and shoe makers. In other words “A Rome” you can’t read about in just any guidebook, documentary or typical tour guide. Only we Romans know its true secrets and what makes it tick, I mean, in the end it is our city…so who should know it better!

Golf Cart Rome tours: Trastevere and Jewish Ghetto

Around the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere. "She" is considered one of the most ancient churches in all of Rome, dating back to 320 A.D. We will be plunging into a magical atmosphere and see Rome as the Romans do. The Rome, made up of local shops and balconies decorated with flowers, 17th century doorways, courtyards and pretty condominiums. Rome, that even now, after all this time. We will cross the Tiber River to experience the second part of our tour. For you to prepare yourself for it is quite easy for the traveler to fall in love with the Jewish district.

We had a wonderful three hour tour of Rome in a golf cart. Giuseppe, our guide, asked us where we would like to go, and he took us to many places and gave us lots of good history and information that we would not have known otherwise. The kids loved it too!

Our guide, Dor, an architect, met us at our hotel, and took us to see the highlights of the city, as it was the first time for one of our friends in Rome. Great way to see off the beaten track places, explaining as we went along. Highly recommend it for people who cannot walk too much

What a great way to get around! Guilia (Julia?) is a fantastic guide. Our party of 4 was able to tailor our trip because we had seen a few hot spots the day before, so she took us places we hadn't thought to see. It was raining so the indoor market was a great place to stop for lunch and cheese and wine. She knew the cheese people, so they treated us exceptionally well. Julia made the history of Rome come alive with picture books and excellent stories. No we didn't have kids with us, but loved this approach anyway. Rome can be crowded, so having a golf cart tour allowed us to get up close without walking miles or dealing with traffic. We love segway tours, but this golf cart excursion really provided us with a more in-depth tour. Our excellent guide might have been the reason!

Our tour guide was the best! He was so knowledgeable on the history of Rome, being a native to Rome it was a great way to spend a day! We did the 6 hr tour but to tell you the truth, it really went by extremely fast! If you dont have the time to stay to see all the incredible features, this is definitely the best alternative! We will tell all our friends and associates that this was our highlight of our trip!

We’d been on many walking tours and were getting tired so when we saw this we were so pleased! The advantage of the golf cart is its size. The tour guide was able to get us very close to each attraction so we were only a few steps away. She was also very accommodating when we wanted to stop at a shop or restaurant.
