Great tour of central city

This tour was fully customized to our desires and tastes. Sergio took us to where we were interested to see, and bypassed those locations we had already viewed. He had an immense knowledge of Center City Rome and shared his expertise with us. Perhaps the most effective use of 3 hours on a tour we've ever enjoyed. Sergio was personable and professional. He was precisely on time picking us up at our hotel, and immediately asked for our viewing preferences. He then made a mental list of our wishes and organized the tour on the spot to place us on each location at the best possible time. (i.e. seeing the Trevi Fountain after nightfall to get the maximum viewing impact.) I highly recommend this tour to any person or couple who wishes to make the best use of their time. I can honestly say I feel as though I really got to experience Rome.

Travel Guide Puccio - fantastic and knowledgable in history

We had a personal evening two-hour tour via cart throughout Rome with our guide by the name of PUCCIO!!! He was extremely knowledgable and very personable. We saw areas of buildings (partial and complete of Rome), sections of the city that we would never be able to see and learn about in the 4 days here. Seeing the city on the upper hill and viewing the lights of the city really made it come alive. Since it was our first tour in the city, the knowledge he gave us made our other tours of the Vatican, St. Peter's, and the coliseum during daylight hours enhanced our walking through historic sites so much more aware of what to look for and why it is the way it is. best Tour EVER!!!

Marcello for the win!

My wife and I had a wonderful tour with our guide Marcello. We did the Secret Rome by golf cart tour and it was fantastic. Marcello picked us up where we are staying in Trastevere we had a quick introduction and he asked what we hat seen so far since we arrived ( this helps him to alter his plans so as not to spend to much time in areas you may have already seen). Riding with Marcello instantly felt like being with an old friend we were able to discuss recipes the good and the avoidable restaurants and were we can find fantastic gelato which we went right to after the tour (great tip Marcello).

Some of the places we were lead to were not places we wouldn’t have even thought of or k own about without our tour. Marcello would take us to places and we would all go together as he described to us the history and some very intricate details on some art that you will not otherwise know.

This was the perfect way to relax our feet from many days of long hours on our feet. The golf cart was also very comfortable and felt more like being in a small car then in the traditional types.

Great experience seeing Rome.

We had a lovely tour guide named 'Mimo' who was very kind and gracious and shared interesting details about the city and the history of Rome. He even kindly took us to a very authentic cafe and bought us espresso! He made us feel comfortable and safe driving around the busy streets of Rome in a golf cart. It was a memorable experience and definitely suggest you hire this tour company.

Amazing Tour/Tourguide

This tour alone was an absolutely incredible experience, but the addition of our guide/driver, Gian Marco, made it one of the best experiences we’ve had in Rome. He was informative, clever, full of good humor, and went out of his way to give us a delightful tour…even going so far as to help us make reservations for dinner! We would 100% book this tour again, thank you so much!

Roman Golf Cart Tour with Turtle Tour

Our driver/guide Paulina was friendly, charming, knowledgeable, and flexible, and she threaded a path through noonday Roman traffic, some sort of dignitary motorcade, and a strike/ march with the nerve and aplomb of a Roman chariot racer. She took us to all the places we requested, asked what we had already seen, and added some sites we had not thought of. At the end of the tour she recommended Babette’s for one of the best meals we’ve enjoyed in Italy (which is saying something). What a wonderful overview of the city this tour was!

Great tour company!

This company is the best! From the beginning, Matt was very easy to communicate to via email and he gave us many inputs to detail our itinerary.

The tour itself was also very great! Alex and Mimmo were very friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient too! We took the wrong bus to the meeting point so we have to cut our tour time, but they tried to squeeze as many as possible without hurrying us at all!

I'm really really glad that we did the Rome tour with them. Having only such a short time in Italy, we wanted to include Rome in our visit, so we only have 4 free hours in Rome. Taking the tour was the best decision!!

Fun and educational tour format!

This was the perfect way for our teenage boys to experience Rome. They got the highlights without all the additional time it normally would have taken us to figure out how to get to each location. Paollina and Andy were wonderful guides and I believe our kids got more out of the tour since the guides were speaking directly to them (rather than being part of a large group). We were able to customize the tour, for example, we had been to St. Peter’s the day before so no need to include that stop on our tour. And we requested to get dropped off at a lunch spot recommended by our guide near Piazza Navona rather than back at our hotel. The golf carts were a great way to get around, and we would definitely recommend taking the morning tour before the tourist spots get too crowded.

Beyond fantastic

Wow what can be said about Sergio and Demitri! They were fantastic! Arrived on time for our 3 hr golf cart tour. I injured myself the day before and had a wheelchair, they were so fantastic about it! They rearranged the two golf carts we had so that I could participate and they took us too all the attractions I wouldn’t be able to see walking. They completely customized it for us, all this while maintaining a sense of humour and kindness. Honestly it was the highlight of the trip! Thank you both so much!

Absolutely fantastic tour!!

This tour was absolutely brilliant and the highlight of our visit to Rome. Matteo and Vito were both so charismatic and knowledgeable. They took us to amazing places and shared stories and history that brought monuments and ruins to life. They’re both clearly very passionate about this amazing city and went out of their way to create a once in a lifetime experience for us.
It is easy to feel lost in a big busy city like Rome, which is why a personalised tour like this is so special. Thank you so much Matteo and Vito!! You created a journey we will never forget.
