Our tour guide Francesca was great. She made the tour even more enjoyable. She was personable and took the time to remember or names. She knew her stuff and delivered it in a fun and interesting manner that keep us engaged and fascinated.

An absolute stunner of a tour. Everything taken care of and they still help you fit in the optional tours on the day. Blue Grotto is not to be missed if it's open as was the chair lift to another breathtaking view. Melanie and Fabian were pure gold - thank you!

Let me start by saying that early entrance express to the Sistine Chapel is the best way to visit the Vatican museums. Having said that - I was disappointed from the tour. It is published as an exclusive tour with limited number of people, but in reality they just add more groups with other guides. We were at least 3... More

We had an amazing experience with our guide Amber. She is outstanding and she explained really nice all the important paintings and the history of Michelangelo and others great painters and popes. We visit the Vatican museum, Sistine chapel and St. Peter's basilica in 3 hours, but your attention is captured by all the impresionat art and stories offered by... More

You get what you pay for. The day before, we picked up a tour on the street at the Colosseum - I knew more than the guide! On the other hand, City Wonders are not a cheap option, but they are excellent. The tour was easy to book online, the instructions for joining the tour were simple to follow. Our... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
