A visit to the Colosseum has been on my "bucket list" for many years, and just to see it with my own eyes might have been enough on its own - but the tour, lead expertly by Nicola, made the whole experience even more stunning. He added real perspective and insights to everything we saw and we came away feeling... More

Although the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel were extremely crowded, this tour did an excellent job of explaining the highlights. Our tour guide, Stella, was knowledgeable, patient, and very skilled at guiding us through the venues.

Our guide Allessandra was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She did a wonderful job of keeping a good pace, especially with the thunderstorm in the middle of our tour. Our special entrances were well worth the price. The Colosseum is a must when in Rome

We had Gigi as our guide. He was happy to share his knowledge with us and although the weather was on the gloomy side with rain as well he more than made up for it with his commentary and he got us front seats next to one of the corridors. Well done Gigi!!

We took the tour of the Capuchin Crypt, the Catacombs and St Clement Church. Our guide was Mike. So informative, he wove history and humor together, making it a wonderful time.

our guide had remarkable patience as she entertained and educated our children on this tour. She engaged them with puzzles and games. She addressed each person in our group by name. Also, she was able to educate the adults without boring the children

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
