A trip to Rome would not be complete without seeing the Colosseum. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the ancient sites in and around the Colosseum. So much information is given that you may want to video the guide whenever he/she is speaking. There is...More

Unreal experience, we had the Vatican Museum to ourselves. They limit the tour to 20 and along with the guide and the two key keepers that's it. We turned on the lights in the Hall of Maps, Tapestries and had the Raphael Rooms to admire,...More

Our group of 8 thoroughly enjoyed our 3.5-hour walking tour of the Colosseum (with underground access and arena floor access), Forum, and Palatine Hill. Our tour guide Silvia P. was amazing! There are other places where you can read about how great the sites are,...More

Allow for at least half a day to make sure you visit as many museums as you can. All exceptional. Arrive in plenty of time to meet your rep as there are different meeting points depending on which tour you are on. We chose to...More

The Vatican Museum was overwhelming in its size, lavishness and especially its crowds. We felt carried along like floodwaters! Salvatore was a calming voice in the crush. He was able to give us a surprising amount of interesting information about many works we spotted over...More

The instructions as to the meeting point were less than satisfactory. After running around the Vatican for over 20 minutes, we finally found the meeting spot only to discover that they wouldn't let us join the tour because we were precisely two minutes late. The...More

This was well worth the forethought of pre-booking because it was an excellent tour. I had been to the Colosseum previously in the summer and didn't fancy waiting in line, and also wanted to see the underground this time. We went in late November so...More

While the tour person did a fine job, it doesn’t justify the price of this tour. The underground was extremely disappointing and too much hype. It’s nothing more than just a place where gladiators entered and animals stayed. There wasn’t much to see and we...More

Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and
Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a
posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and

cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the
cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to
five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law

There is a lot of walking involved, but it’s all at a slow place with lots of breaks. The meeting place is right beside the Vatican museum entrance, and the Sistine chapel is inside the Vatican walls.
