The park was very quiet on our visit with the longest queue being only around ten minutes. The rides are all very enjoyable with three or four bigger rides and lots of smaller but fun rides for younger kids.

Tickets are easy to buy online with transport leaving from Roma Termini in the morning and returning when the park closes. It’s very simple to book and very easy to find.

Although the website says not to bring food or drink into the park the security don’t check the bags that closely so it is a good idea to bring in a packed lunch to save some money. You should also familiarise yourself with ride opening times as some of the rides open later than park opening. If you want to eat in the park then meals can be added to your tickets which save you slightly on the cost.

The biggest ride in the park is Altair which is smooth, fun, thrilling and always has a short queue. Inferno was an amazing and well themed indoor coaster with some great elements. Aktium is a not-so-wet water ride but it was still great fun. Unfortunately Indiana, the drop tower was closed likely due to high winds that day but it was still an amazing day without.

Cinecitta World is also a great park for younger children with lots of smaller rides around the park like a teacups ride and some bumper cars to name a few. The park also has lots of shows on throughout the day such as a car show in the Adventureland area.

If you’re looking for something relaxing to fill in a day while visiting Rome then Cinecitta World is a great option for small queues and quality rides.

On Saturday 23 September we went to the park by purchasing the afternoon entrance to see the event in which Eiffel65 would perform and I must say that I was very disappointed. This review was born from the desire to express and describe a disappointing, poorly organized and chaotic experience of the center in question. Let me start by saying that I have been to other theme parks, even with organized events, but in this one I found the organization to be the worst. The cost of the ticket was 20 euros, nothing to say except that the event initially organized for 10 am was postponed to after midnight with continuous time wasting by the organizers and a show bordering on decency so much so that even the public began to lose patience.
The chaotic organization began beforehand with hour-long waiting lines just to get a sandwich and all this because some restaurants in the park were closed, leaving I don't know how many people waiting interminably, including families with children. Never seen something like this... even the operators in the restaurants were annoyed and amazed. Such an organization is not only a bad image for the park itself but also for all the people who work inside it.
Really insufficient experience for an event that should have allowed us to enjoy a different day

Hey there. Awful experience. I mean it has nothing to do with the history of cinema. No Italian cinema, no Fellini. Nothing. It's more like a park for kids. And it's not meant for tourists. If you don't have a car you just can't enjoy evening shows. The Rome on Fire show starts at 21.00 (it started at 21.20) and the latest shuttle to Rome is at 22.00. My 8 years old son was crying all the way back because we had to leave in 20 minutes to catch up with this stupid shuttle. No signs where this shuttle parks. You have to run all over this parking space. If you have a show that starts at 21.00 then why on earth is the shuttle at 22.00?
There's no chance to relax in the pool. The music is so loud that you can't stay there without getting a headache. No places to change clothes. I'm a journalist and I plan to write everywhere how poor and disappointing the experience is.

Carnival at Cinecittà world.. a scandal!!! The park is closed, only the main street remains open, 500 MT for hundreds of people. There are only 2 attractions open, an interactive one that children under 6 years old cannot do and the brand new Hotel Transilvania attraction. After an hour and a half in line you enter, two rooms with terrible actors who say 4 equally terrible lines! The sets of a 3 year old child that have nothing to do with the setting of the film!!!!
We paid 10 euros for 3 floats and 10 actors in total... Something that couldn't be more scandalous than that even if the worst never ends!
We have free tickets for March... paper to clean yourself in the bathroom!!!

Park, well-kept and clean, events to be improved and taken care of. Show with fire...a ballet with 4 boys and 4 torches....rated 3 (to be good). Far west area with large puddles of water already present before the rain....if created for the theme ok, but people got quite wet and did a gymkhana to get through and get to the attractions. Horror Hotel suitable for children, rating 2. Paid attractions, absolutely not to be repeated....and attractions with reservations ditto...absolutely inappropriate for the event and the amount of people. They were empty... given the reservation, registration and everything else. Far-West dinner...ok it's New Year's Eve, but an appetizer with cured meats cut from who knows how long ago, with a Halloween-like complexion to say the least is not from Cinecittà, not to mention the cold, sticky Lasagna...second in the list normal....but a truck stop atmosphere. No music, zero involvement, as they say in Rome..."magnate and go"....If I were to decide to return I wouldn't book dinner... better a porchetta sandwich in the park. Pandoro...definitely the leftovers from the previous round, but I repeat, the atmosphere of New Year's Eve was not felt. Suggestions: improve the critical issues, create more New Year's Eve atmosphere, shows in the various points of the park....eat fire, jugglers, make-up artists, artificial snow, and less sales of everything (I understand the business) but New Year's Eve deserves much more. All in all I would go back but on the second flop....stop at CineCittà. P.S. 2 roller coasters worthy of the name would greatly embellish the park and make it as captivating as Gardalad and Mirabilandia. Horror themes...better Valmontone....I'm from Puglia. A greeting.

The only good thing I can say about cinecitta world is that the employees are nice.

The shuttle service:
It was terrible, it was supposed to pick us up in roma termini via marsala, I actually called and verified with customer service to know where exactly on that road and they stated the pickup was in in fact in via giolitti, only to then call me back stating it was in marsala again. Having me run around the station for nothing because the bus was actually in piazza de la republica (both the website and the ticket itself say via marsala).
Anyway we missed the service because of this and the best they could offer was going halfway across rome rome for a pickup an hour and a half later.
I complained in customer service and they said the best they could do was give me storyñe credit for the gift shop, but honestly it was so bad I didn't go for it.

The park itself:
It's technically an amusement park. And that's about it. A large part of the attractions tend towards disrepair, my wife actually suffered a minor injury in their karts.
Even my kid was disappointed and he's very easy to please since he loves amusement parks. And he's 3...

I'm writing this from the park itself, haven't tried the food yet but even if it's 5 stars I'd say skip this one, find literaly anything else to do.

Bad experience in every respect. By mistake I make tickets online I understand two whole and two reduced for my children, only instead of selecting reduced child, I select reduced afternoon. Notify me of the error I go to the cashier to pay the difference. Well, that's not possible. After more than an hour of explanations under the sun with unprepared staff and non-existent management The only one is to redo the tickets again (the employee at least applied a discount) losing the money. A company policy that definitely does not care about its customers.
Never again.
Besides their water park is very badly kept and there are just two slides and a swimming pool. The dinghies almost all deflated and the lifeguard who whistled continuously and for everything (not to us, but anyway if someone has inappropriate behavior after a while 'intervene instead of continuing to whistle uninterrupted). The price for the water part alone is 15 euros per person (there is no reduction for children) for a total of 60 euros in 4, stuff that at Zoomarine (much bigger and with many more attractions and shows) we spent 50 in 4. The price for both parks (30 euros per person) is definitely expensive for what it offers. In addition, one of the 3 parks, so sponsored when buying tickets, was closed. Lastly, it is not possible to introduce food, so you have to eat at their very poor food outlets. Without going into detail I just say that at the ice cream kiosk maybe there were 2 types of ice cream. DO NOT GO!

I attended the One Direction/Glee Fandom Night event on New Year's Eve. 50 Euros (100, if we consider that there were two of us) literally wasted.

Let's start with the fact that, on IG, I was told that the event would be indoors and that I would have better buy the wardrobe. Luckily I didn't because obviously the event was outdoors.
Now. Let's define the word "event": would a projector and a screen showing YouTube videos be an event? Why wasn't it specified? I thought it would be something interactive, something for, EXACTLY, fans! Themed games, karaoke, I don't know, something that would interest the people present. I still had fun singing the songs, sure, I won't deny that, but that was it. Nothing at all. Apathetic. Even a little pathetic at times. I am very sorry.
And a lemon vodka for 10 Euros (all ice) cannot be tasted, forgive me.
Organize yourself better, please.

I feel like giving an extra star because the fireworks show they do in the summer I really liked. The rest leaves much to be desired, it looks like the park under the house with the animation of the holiday village, and also of the poor ones. I went to the opening 10 years ago and since then I don't think the maintenance has been done. Sloppy, weeds, dirt here and there, zero professionalism. I add, reading other comments, and confirm misleading advertising. To attend the evening shows / concerts / events you must make the ticket of the park, too bad that the attractions close at 20, while on the site going directly on the calendar, the summer closure is indicated at 22. Basically you are requisitioned inside without being able to do anything, except spend money eating (of course!) Start of fires event 22.30!
Which in other foreign cities, and without specific events, you find parks open even at night and not necessarily in summer.
I wonder how it's still open.

Small museum, mainly dedicated to Federico Fellini, but also to some movies that have been filmed there (you surely enjoyed The Roman Holiday). Then guided tour through some sets already used in various productions. One in all, a place to see, considered to be the second largest "movie factory" in the world. Far from traditional touristic attractions.
