Traveling with a large group of 12. Francesca came recommended and exceeded expectations. She had a wealth of knowledge about both sites (Vatican and Colosseum) and kept our large group engaged. Both tours lasted about three hours which went by fast and was an appropriate length of time. I am so glad we booked as touring these sites without a guide would really diminish the experience. Her background as an archeologist separates her from the typical guide. Would highly recommend.

We recently booked Francesca during our trip to Rome. My mother and I couldn’t have been more pleased! It was by far one of the best experiences of our trip. Francesca is very knowledgeable and was able to navigate through the hustle and bustle of the Colosseum and the Vatican very easily! We would have been lost without her! She took us to a great place for lunch and introduced us to a few Italian favorite appetizers! Our day with Francesca was an amazing experience!

We were able to see all the sights we wanted to in 2 days with Francesca. She is so informative, knowledgeable and friendly. We went on an evening walking tour including Trevi Fountain and Collesium and day tour to Vatican Museum, Sistene Chapel and St. Peter’s Bassilica. Francesca navigates the hustle and bustle effortlessly. Highly recommend it.

Francesca was our tour guide to several attractions in Rome and she was absolutely fantastic. One of my favorite tours was of San Clemente Church which isn't as well known as the Vatican or the Forum but is very interesting. Francesca was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the historical significance of various aspects of the site. Even though she has a background in archeology she also has an excellent understanding and knowledge of art and explained many of the pieces we saw in much greater detail than I expected. Additionally she was great at getting us into the various sites quickly and knew where highlights were so we didn't burn out or get lost looking at random items which would be very easy to do. Even so when I asked where a particular scene was in the Sistine Chapel she knew exactly where to look. Francesca told us that two of her favorite sights are San Clemente and Ostia Antica (which is a little outside the city). Hopefully someday we will get back and if we do I'd love to book her for Ostia Antica! While I'm saving my pennies to return to Rome you can have a fun and educational tour with her.

This was our first trip to Rome and we were so glad to have planned ahead to have Francesca be our family's guide through the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. Francesca quickly got us where we needed to be once inside, thus avoiding lines and crowds. She filled us in on the history of the Sistine Chapel before we entered and we learned so much more than if we had participated in a large tour group. Francesca was also able to gain access for us to a side chapel in the Vatican which we most appreciated. We would not have had such a memorable experience if we had not had Francesca with us!
