The area was very nice, eclectic with cool architecture. Shops and bars were inhabited by locals. If your staying near the train station it’s worth a visit

never a dull moment in Monti... cafes, bars, nice restaurants and the street full of tourists. central location in Rome close by to Termini station, Via Nazionale (shopping district) and major tourist attractions (Coliseum)

This is a beautiful little cafe. We called in several times during our visit for coffee, wine, ice cream etc. Very friendly staff. The messages on the coffees were a nice touch!

The Rione Monti is an area of Rome with ancient history as well as nice shops, restaurants and wine bars.
