Would highly recommend ItalyXP to experience an awesome tour around Vatican City, St Peter’s and The Sistine Chapel. Isabella was our guide and she was so knowledgeable and her English was excellent so able to understand all she said as we toured around. Well worth the money.

I have to thank the ItalyXP Customer Service Rep, Sara for helping me organize/design this trip to Bologna and the small country, San Marino. She did everything she can to arrange the tour guides/transportation/timing etc... My driver's name was Eduardo Da Silva Allan. A multilingual man who took good care of me the whole day (12 hours of traveling/driving). Conversations with him was exciting as he knew so much about Italy and the world. Leonardo Bollini, was my tour guide for San Marino. He did a great job explaining to the me the history of Europe's 3rd small country. He even showed me the area where I can get a San Marino immigration stamp on my passport. Last but not least, my last stop, the tour guide was Sara (I can't remember her last name). Also a multilingual woman who did an excellent job explaining the history of Bologna. She even gave me a whole history of the food in Bologna. Writing this review makes me want to just go back to Italy and have ItalyXP plan everything out again for me!!!

Our tour of the Chianti region began in the early afternoon in Tuscany. We were picked up at our hotel on time and we were on our way.We were a small group in a minivan and our driver was very friendly and informative about the area and it’s history. Our first stop was Monteriggione, a medieval walled town built in the 13 th century.Very well preserved. We walked on top of a walkway built for visitors with an amazing view of the countryside. The piazza has lovely old stone buildings with a real old quaint village style. Our second stop was Poggio Armorelli a winery that is owned and operated by the Mazzarrini family. Their wines are of high quality and are certified Chianti Classico. We had a wine tasting in the bottom of the winery and also got to try their specially certified 12 year aged balsamic vinegar.Marco the owner explained the process to us and was a very good host. Next was Castellina di Chianti and although it was a short stop we were able to visit the Romanesque church of San Salvatore. Church is from the 15 th century with frescoes from the 15 th century. The town goes back to the Bronze Age.Our last stop was another winery (Lornano) with certified Chianti Classico. Has been in their family since 1904. Their wines are organic and we were given a tour of their cellars! We also had a wine tasting there as well.Chianti is a beautiful area and this tour gave us a sampling of both it’s wines and historical towns. We are very happy we did this tour!
