Good food, excellent wine and cocktails. Their cheese and sausage plates are very tasteful and the bruschetta is lovely. Owner doesn’t really speak English, but does that matter when you can just point out on the card what you want? We loved it.

Great food and cold plates (antipasti), great selection of beer, wine and cocktails at very reasonable prices, very friendly and accommodating personnel and owners. It's cozy, friendly and always full. They even have live music which was really a concert of very talented musicians.

At first glance, it may seem like all the bars and restaurants on the Pigneto "isola pedonale" (the pedestrian-only main drag of Pigneto) are all the same. I myself used to think that, but now that I've lived in this neighborhood for quite a while, it's become clear to me that Cargo is by far the best! Always friendly service, always delicious drinks. The bartenders can handle any request with ease. If you're hungry, grab a tagliere, they have lots of varieties (including vegan). I send everyone there who asks for a recommendation!

Found ourselves on the outdoor cafe section of Pigneto just around the end of siesta, stopped by Cargo for a drink to rest our feet. Drinks and wine by the glass were fine, service was slow and lackadaisical. After taking our first order, no one ever came back. As a staff member sat directly behind us on his phone, ignoring us, we went to the bar ourselves. When we finished our second glass, again ignored, we had to ask for the check ourselves after waiting a considerable amount of time. Next time will try someplace else.

I went with a friend and we had a great, delicious platter and tasted very good Guinnes and Menabrea.
The staff were very friendly and Beatrice, the owner's daughter was really sweet and kind. Not to be missed in Rome!

We liked the sound of this Bar as it seemed to have a vast Cocktail Menu, including 20 types of Mojito. On arrival the waitress was very friendly, the wait was long given that we were two peope and the biggest dissapointment, after driving an hour to get there - wasthe ' Mojito'. It actually wasnt a Mojito at all. The flavours were initially of dark rum, then water ( a trick we know is commnly used as a way f reducing alcohol quantita - but to this level was an insult. So, we regretted very much taking our time togo there and drink that, and certinly wont go back. If you do go though, the wine and beer is a safe option

Loved this place and went here a few times as it was on our doorstep. Antipasti and a bottle of prosecco for a small amount of euros it was a great deal and we made the most of it! friendly staff and customers, a reall mixture of people in this bohemian neighbourhood.

Not the best food we've ever had in Rome. Seemed to cater to tourists which cuts corner in using best ingredients, hence great taste. We were disappointed.

Volevo segnalare l' ultima recensione ..in quanto e' palesemente falsa e sospetta .e che la signora in oggetto oltre ad essere maleducata e' anche ignorante .in quando come sanno tutti la plastica non va buttata in un secchio adibito x le sigarette dove la cenere ne cade all'interno con gravi conseguenze ..la signora vuole palesemente screditare una delle attività che lavorano di piu' con onesta e rispettando tutte le regole .quindi chiedo cortesemente di rimuovere la recensione in oggetto ..grazie
