I planned a family trip to Rome, from the USA for myself, my husband (30's) and his parents (60's). I was worried about all the walking in Italy because my mother has bad knees. I didn't see how we would be able to see all the sites we wanted to see in Rome with all the required walking and the lines for everything.
I was also worried about booking a guided tour on a foreign site and possibly getting ripped off, but I thought it was our best option if we wanted to fulfill all our dreams of seeing Rome.
I am so glad we found Top Tour of Italy! We booked a total of 4 Day Trips and we had 2 different drivers.
Cristiano and Andres (I hope I didn't murder the spelling) were both great! They were on time, friendly, knowledgeable and personable. After the first day we ended up altering our plans a bit based on Cristiano's expert suggestions. He came up with a personalized plan for our family based on all of our discussions and interests.
We went to Italy expecting to only see Rome and maybe a bit of the surrounding countryside....we got to see Rome, Tuscany, Florence, Muntepulciano, Positano, The Almalfi Coast, Pompeii, Venice and everything in between in only 4 days!
The way the day trips were organized allowed us to see and do everything we wanted to in each city and not feel rushed or too worn out! And, my mothers knees survived the trip!
I highly recommend this tour company! They made our simple week in Rome a Top Tour of Italy indeed!!! (Cheesy I know.....but, so true. lol)
P.S. The Food was also amazing! We went to a different, off the beaten path location each time. It was all good, home cooked Italian food. None of the spots were crowded with tourists and the stop in Positano was voted Best Meal Ever by several in our group and it came with a Breathtaking View!
