Worth a visit, quite small so could struggle to find a table. The bartenders were really helpful and knowledgable. I told them the flavours that I liked and they either suggested something from the menu or made me one from scratch! You get a small plate of nibbles with every order which are yummy. Seems to be quite a few... More

I' m from Moscow and i love Rome. Salotto42 ? Beautiful place but nervous atmosphere at the bar . I was a few days ago and I had a bad experience because of rude barman . He gave me a cocktail wrong and after he attacked me saying it was my fault ! to avoid !!!!! Olga

We researched reviews on this swanky little cocktail bar located directly opposite the pantheon, and we were not disappointed. Amazing range of quirky cocktails to select. Not a standard pins colada or cosmopolitan in sight!! All were creative and original recipes that tasted delightful. The space is only small, but from the time you enter you feel you have found... Very cosy, lots of atmosphere. We had very creative cocktails, which we loved. Came with an interesting plate of little Italian nibbles. Friendly staff, a special Rome experience for me.

Wanted to grab a cocktail and people watch on a hot day in July. Walked in and was given a friendly greeting. We grabbed two chairs by the front sliding glass door so that we could watch the passers by. The AC is not very strong up front so we were still pretty hot. I ordered a tequila ginger cocktail... My partner and I went here tonight after finishing watching the Euro's final for a drink. It was quite expensive, but we usually pay about €10-12 per cocktail anyway. When the cocktail arrived it was undrinkable, really just disgusting. My partner took it back to the bar to tell the barman it was not made correctly. Let me say at... More

Excellent bar with a beautiful exterior perfect for drinks before dinner. Great cocktails, spritz, and beer. Good music. Highly recommend.

Indoor seating is extremely comfortable when in need of rest during hectic sightseeing. Outdoor seats good for people watching. Coffee is excellent and slightly cheaper than more bars in the area. Toilets were very clean and easily accessible for the infirm.

I waited long enough to write this review. I was there for the second time about a month ago with my boyfriend and a friend. The first time we went service was terrible. Allow me to explain: they seated us next to the door even though the bar was empty, as soon as our cocktails arrived they rushed us to... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
