There is Japanese Sakura in this Parco. In spring we can enjoy Hanami(nice cherry blossom viewing) here. This cherry tree has been awarded from Japan long time before, it is a Japanese favorite kind of cherry tree.(I estimate it is Somei-Yoshino) Of caurce I like it very much. I feel Japanese Promavera here, and I remenber I’m a Japanese with Sakura. Let's enjoy Japanese Hamami. Sakura was full bloom at Easter 2016.

A beautiful lake with a lovely green park. You can go out on one of the paddle boats and fall in love all over again. This park is right next to EUR Femi and EUR Palasport metro stations which are only a few stops from Basilica S. Paolo (St Paul's Cathedral). Look out for the parks amazing music and sports events and make it a point to attend at least one.

Always a favorite destination for sport and cultural activities, the area is rich in species of trees and shrubs of the Mediterranean environment and area.
Oaks, poplars, magnolias, olive trees and maples are widespread, while the specimens of cherry laurel, ligustrum and conifers belonging to the most important species and varieties are rarer.
Famous is 'the Japan Walk', which, designed as for the general layout and for its paths by Raffaele de Vico as a whole with the gardens of the lake, it was completed with the massive planting of sakura trees, cherry blossoms donated by the city of Tokyo.
Located between the Eni Palace and the Japanese cherry trees, it has become the green lung of the EUR, complete with a navigable lake.
It is a beautiful park, one of the most beautiful in Rome, where you can go for a run, feel immersed in the green or just for a walk.
Among some of the surprises of the Park is a group of bronze statues, called 'The Vessel of the Revolution' by the Italian artist Ugo Attardi.
This lovely group is located on the side of a hill, and precisely along Via Cristoforo Colombo, towards the sea, at the height of the famous restaurant "Il Fungo".
Two of the three main sculptures on the vessel look towards an imaginary horizon, towards the spectator who often passes unaware and distracted on via Cristoforo Colombo.
A third sculpture, placed in an orthogonal direction with respect to the other two, shows the side to the viewer and maternally looks at a strange little creature lying in front of him.
What is not very clear is the choice of 'enclosing' the "vessel" in a rectangular flower-bed.
Probably if the Italian sculptor Attardi were still alive it would be interesting to know what he would think about the installation.
If you are in the area and you are walking in the Central Park of the Lake, why don't you go there, walk around the statues and take some nice photos?
Recommended.

Nice park with amazing waterfalls. Good for families with kids for a short travel (25-30 minutes). Kids can also play on the lawn.

The lake, the park, the activities... Great place for a walk, especially when you have young children. Moreover there are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and of course gelaterie all around!

A great park if you are looking for something different. This is well off the tourist trail and is nice and peaceful. Ideal for spending a couple of hours out of the main part of the city.

We will be visitting in the first week of November. Can you rent a boat or take a ferry ride at this time of the year and are there any activities for children happening?
