Prior to leaving NYC we had made online reservations for a Thursday 10pm show at this Roman jazz club. From the start the service was, at best, brusque - even more so than one generally expects in Rome. We were seated in the intimate room...More

What a surprise discovery! This intimate bar became our late night “home” in Rome for 3 of our 4 nights in the city. Featuring traditional jazz, the music starts at 10:00 p.m. and usually features different talent each night. We were fortunate that local pianist...More

Downstairs is a cozy bar with a comprehensive choice of whiskey, good cocktails and beer. The food is very average and over priced. Upstairs, a relatively small room where jazz is played. We visited on two nights and both times the quality was astounding.

We went to Gregory's strictly for the music after having dinner elsewhere. We did have a look at the menu and concluded it was good we'd eaten before. The music on the other hand, was great fun, that is of course if you are a...More

A small, intimate space ... a classic "boite". Reminiscent of Pizza Express on Dean St or Jazzhaus Montmartre in Copenhagen. Reminds me of the now-defunct Sept Lezards in Paris too. Small cafe tables and some couch/banquets close to band. Get there early to reserve best...More

Recommend by a friend, this is a hidden gem. Friendly staff, prompt service and great food. After we finished eating we continued the night by enjoying the jazz upstairs. It did get a little crowded but for us it just added to the atmosphere

Few meters from the Spanish Steps this bar has every night live jazz music. Good local bands play in a small room upstairs while drinks are served at the basement. You can also have some simple food. In case you love jazz and you don't...More

I enjoyed this. Lovley music, good bartenders. All in all some great funky nights. They served pizza, beer, whiskey. You name it. Easy place to find.

Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields
to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most
desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best
place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and
Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with
enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s
best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a
fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to
