We had a great full day visiting some of the highlights of Rome, the Vatican, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Colisseum. Very tiring but worth it. I especially enjoyed our guide Christina . Very knowledgeable and she has a way to keep you glued to every thing she says . Terrific guide

Almost no explanations from the guide except: magnifico and vatican is very rich. This was a really bad experience and we got out of it frustrated tout have such a non professionel guide for that amazing piece of art

Our tour of the Vatican is impressive as such, for the art and monuments. The driver arrived 40 minutes before the scheduled time and we had to leave with out breakfast. He drove as around picking up other passengers to drop us off in another hotel. We had to walk to Risorgimento Plaza which is 5 minutes away from our hotel, we might as well had walked there in the beginning. The driver told us, very unpolitely "get off get off!", we didn't know if he was referring to another couple or us. Then the guides walked us to the plaza, crossing the streets the traffic light changed, and we were left behind. The guide was rather presumptuos and sarcastic, and smoked during our tour, lack of respect in an already heavily smoking city.

Dear Guest, so sorry to read this report of your day - we're sorry your experience didn't match what you were expecting and all didn't go smoothly. Our pickup service is indeed a shared service and sometimes it is easier to reach our Vatican Museums meeting point by oneself than taking the shuttle, depending on where the hotel is located - in fact, we provide a Google map on our websites so one can check what is more convenient opting for. As for your tour guide, we had no idea there are guides who smoke, we do not encourage or support such behaviors on tours. We'll send out a communication to remind all our staff of local guides that smoking is not allowed. Thank you for your review and contribution. We hope you'll give us another chance and try another tour with us, we bet it would meet your expectations. Best regards, the Gray Line I Love Rome Team

Pompei Day Trip from Rome Our family of four (C: 8 and 10) had an enjoyable and an informative day trip to Pompei. 13hrs door to door but it didn’t feel like it. Alessia was a wonderful host making us feel welcome from the start and attentive through the day. Franco’s driving was safe and he got us back to Rome earlier than expected. We did not feel rushed at any point in the tour and the 2 hour walking tour in Pompei was sufficient for my children. The restaurant for lunch also catered for our daughter’s food allergies as Alessia advised them in advance on our behalf. A few aspects which we would change but did not spoil the overall day: the visit to the Coral and shell cameo factory felt like we were just being funnelled through a shop and I think the radios may need to be upgraded as the sound quality was not as sharp as other walking tours I have done.

This full day private tour took in the Colosseum, Romal Forum, Vatican city including St Peter's Basillica, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museum. This is the ONLY way to see all of this in a day! Tour guide and driver with skip the line tickets all prearranged. So much to see - it was great. Our guide Olga was super knowledgeable and knew all the tricks about how to get around - I felt like I was at school and learned so much Thank you for a wonderful day - we couldn't have been happier with the tour!
