The golf cart tour with Roberto was highly recommended by a friend and it was worth the price! We booked the mini golf cart tour and Roberto made the magic happen so that we were able to see many of Rome’s highlights despite having a toddler. The ride was so soothing that my toddler even took a nap in the car seat. Best of all Roberto was very knowledgeable and passionate about Rome. We left the tour with a new appreciation for the city and we hope to come back!

Let me start off by saying planning a trip in Roma as an American is not an easy feat. Understanding times, locations, tickets is all very time consuming. Anidy(spelling) and Leo were fantastic hosts. They gave us so much more information than what you would expect from a typical guide, it was more like touring the city with a BFF you haven’t seen in a while. Oh and the gold cart? It is the way to see the city! You’ll be zipping past crowds, cruising through traffic with ease all while sipping ice cold water and hearing about Roman history. Pictures? My man Anidy is going to get you some of the best pictures of your vacation. No need to ask random strangers to take a picture for you, he is going to get you pictures as if you are the only people in the area.
The next day we booked the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica walking tour with Donatella. They had a driver pick us up at the hotel in a brand new van and whisk us to the office where Donatella was waiting for us. She provided so much information and was very patient with our nine year old walking all day.

Our half-day golf tour experience was incredible and unforgettable! What a terrific way to see the sights and hear the history as well. Gianalberto was so friendly, professional and willing to put up with our questions. He also shared parts of his Sicilian heritage that were enlightening. We highly recommend this tour for anyone—saves steps and time and provides a unique experience around this beautiful city. Especially recommend Gianalberto.

We did the golf cart tour on July 2nd and walking tour of Colloseo/Palatine and Forum on a July 5th and we enjoyed both! Raffa was an excellent guide! He picked us up outside our hotel, drove us around explaining all the touristy stuff and at the end of the tour, he dropped us off at our restaurant of choice for lunch. He even took us to a great gelato place with 150 flavors! Also, he brought water for everyone. Thank you Raffa!

My family booked the Rome All In One Day during a cruise port stop. With only one day at port, we were so excited that we would be able to see the Colosseum and tour the Vatican City. We had a great golf cart guide who did an excellent tour of Rome and the Colosseum. Pino was exceptional in providing a wonderful tour of Vatican City even though he was given such a time constraint. If it wasn't for these two guides, I would have rated it a 1 star. We didn't receive the value of the cost of the tour.
During the numerous correspondence before the cruise, I was very concerned that we could not have enough time to do the Colosseum and Vatican City tours. I was clear that I would like to shorten the golf cart tour in order to ensure we have enough time to visit the Colosseum and Vatican City and still be back to the cruise port at 6pm. I was assured that it would only take 45 mins to drive back to the port. I understand that the traffic was busy that day.
However, knowing that it would take 1hr30 mins to get back to the cruise port that day (not the usual 45 mins as I was reassured), we should have been told that we would need to adjust the golf tour. Instead, we were told to have a leisure lunch after the golf tour. After lunch, we arrived back to their office and waited a bit longer. Again, we weren't told there was a time issue.
It wasn't until we arrive at the Vatican City that we realized, we had a short time there. Pino was very good and was able to get us through most of the tour, but it was clear that he was forced to rush the tour. Fortunately, he was able to move us through the lines quickly. If it wasn't for his expertise, we would have seen very little of the sights.
It's not the fault of My Best Tour that traffic was extremely busy that day, but it is their fault for not informing us and adjust accordingly. If we had know, we would have asked to make sure we focused on what was important to us - Colosseum and the Vatican City (as I mentioned in my correspondences). Given the proper time, I'm sure Pino would have showed us much more and we would have been able to enjoy the tour instead of feeling dissatisfied.
I would highly recommend their tour guides, but we were very disappointed with the coordination and scheduling. This could have been avoided if they worked to ensure that the main focus - Colosseum and the Vatican City tour was provided the appropriate time to enjoy the tour.

We had Mauro as a guide and did the Rome two hour tour by night. We chose this for our first night arrival, on little if any sleep, and from 8-10p on a Friday. It was also cold and rainy, and Mauro provided water and blankets for comfort. Despite our fatigue from jet lag and 40s weather it was completely worth it and Mauro kept us highly entertained with interesting facts! Provided an amazing overview (and hands on experiential map for key points of the city). All the major sites with minimal foot traffic, and seeing all these beautiful city sites with gorgeous lighting! Learned so much history about Rome from all the Obalisques and Plazas, especially regarding architectural styles and how they related to which time period of Rome- ie Republic, Medieval, Imperial, etc. Above and beyond, we had recommendations from him to some amazing restaurants and gelaterias for each district in Rome! We loved over night overview so much that we booked a day 6h trip with our siblings for the end of our trip!

We scheduled our tour in mid March (3mos prior to June date) & was told we were getting a 4HR tour w/ skip the line passes to go inside Colosseum for 10 people.
We got a phone call less than 24HRS prior saying they did not get tickets to Colosseum but they were still willing to offer us a 4HR tour. No refund or discount was offered. We were a group of 10 & 8 have never been to Rome. It was very disappointing to tell them that we were no longer going to Colosseum. With traffic as it is in Rome our guides (Andrea & Paolo) did their best to show us most important spots in Rome. However, we did miss many highlights Vatican City, Trastevere area etc. They did a great job however I do think MBT website is very misleading and the booking agents need to be upfront about tours, traffic, & what you will see. Also they should not offer skip the line tickets as they told us it is nearly impossible to get tickets. (Although quite a few people were inside?) Overall Andrea & Paola were great The tour itself not worth the $$$ paid.

I am not one to write reviews - but our experience with Val was so amazing I have to. He went above and beyond and not for one moment did I feel like I was on a tacky or inauthentic tour. I live in Manhattan, and when I agreed to go on a golf cart tour I was skeptical as I loathe seeing flocks of tours in my hometown daily. On the golf cart, we blended in - and Val came off as educated, relaxed, and generally interested in the history and magic of Rome and sharing it with us. He helped with so many amazing recommendations only a true local would know, and helped us with anything else we asked or were looking for. He also helped us bypass a lot of traffic and other tourists getting into the pantheon, or even just suggesting an alternate entrance to walk into the fountain to bypass crowds, he really knew his stuff and you could tell he knows the city. He shared a great list of some of his favorite spots I couldn’t even begin to imagine finding out on my own. He also was happy to share recs and advice on the rest of our vacation to napoli after Rome. He was a honest and kind person, and it was so good when we return I hope he is still offering his tour, so we can see other sights through his lens! Val has changed my opinion on private tours as a viable to way immerse and experience a city - he was truly amazing to me and my family.

This company is THE BOMB! From the moment we booked our tour, we knew we were in good hands! Ricardo was the first person we encountered who helped us decide which tour would be the best to accommodate us. We only had one full day to explore Rome so we chose the combined Golf Cart Tour coupled with the Vatican Tour. Ricardo made the booking process incredibly easy as he offered suggestions and options for us including having a wheelchair available for the Vatican portion of the tour as the matriarch of our family is 92 and cannot walk long distances. Ricardo also arranged a private car service for the return trip back to our hotel. On the day of our tour, our Golf Cart driver Andreas picked us up right outside of our hotel just as anticipated. Andreas asked us where we wanted to visit and took us to all of those places and then some. He suggested Villa Borghese Gardens which had a breathtaking view of the entire city of Rome. Andreas was a wealth of knowledge and very willing to share the history behind the sites we were seeing. We inquired about an authentic Roman restaurant to have lunch (specifically pizza) and he took care of making the reservations for us without us having to ask. Laura who was our tour guide of the Vatican was also a wealth of knowledge and explained to us exactly what we would be seeing inside the Sistine Chapel. To our delight, Ricardo joined us as he took great care in pushing the wheelchair and taking care of our matriarch. Laura accommodated any request we had including stopping to light a candle in memory of a loved one. She had a great sense of humor and made us feel like family. We HIGHLY recommend this company and wish they were in every city we travel to. Grazie Mille Ricardo, Laura, Andreas and My Best Tour for making our tour of Rome such a memorable and fun adventure.

On our last day of Rome we booked a four hour golf cart tour with My Best Tour for our family of 6. This was one of the highlights of our time in Rome. They picked us up at our hotel and drove us to many of the sights that we hadn't seen during our first three days in the city. We told the tour guide what we wanted to see and he also made suggestions. We visited churches, piazzas, gardens, markets and even saw some of Appian Way. It was a wonderful way to see a lot of Rome in a short amount of time and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

Good Day, I will not lie the ride is a bit bumpy at times. I did not notice a lot of fumes form other cars, our driver did his best to keep us off of the main "roads" he utilized a lot of the smaller alleyways and such. We had the best time ever and thought it was a wonderful experience.

Do you do tours with a primary focus on food/wine while incorporating sites as well. Looking for an afternoon tour on 10-22 or 10-24? We have tours already arranged for the vatican, ancient rome, and primary sites so any options you suggest would be appreciated

We paid 360EU total (we added a tip on top of this). This was for four people and a 4-hour tour. Would have been a bit less for fewer people.
Just want to add that this really was money well spent for us. It's a great overview of all of Rome. We had limited time so it was a great way for us to be sure and see the bigger sites. Our guide was willing to accommodate and take us to the places most important to us.
