We had a great tour with Alessandro, a genuine local, in Trastevere. It was interesting and entertaining, he took the time to answer all our questions and showed us some hidden gems in the neighborhood (eg a marvelous Bernini sculpture in a plain looking church). Would definitely recommend it!

I had a very good walking tour with Laura, a very authentic, down to earth and humble person, who tells you right from her heart the places she likes and the stories she knows. She is a trained guide and does normally commercial tours and offers with her cousin in her spare time these tours. And it was just amazing. Really off the beaten path. With some hidden treasures, that even most locals not know about. Don’t want to spoil anything, but it is definitely worth it. After some walking tour experiences in Italy with hard to understand guides just talking down a long text they are repeating for the last 4 years every day, this rather felt like an afternoon stroll with a true friend who shows you around her hood.

SUCH AN AMAZING JOURNEY THROUGH THE HISTORY OF ROMA! We took the walking tour with our beloved guide Laura through the narrow streets of Trastevere and it was just awesome. We spent around 3 hours, wandering around the streets with quick pop-ins to some landmark churches and literally didn’t want our tour to end. Laura is super attentive, highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history of Roma. She also recommended us all the superb places to eat traditional Roman food. So this tour gave a great kick-start to my Roma visit, therefore I’m strongly recommending it to everyone who wants to find out a bit more of Roma!

Rome is such a marvellous place full of millenia of history. Allessandro is a great guide - he manages to introduce you to the different eras and gives you a great insight into how the city changed when. Not just the regular name or year dropping but Really, really good!

Our guide, Laura, was really passionate about her city and she was really interestinf to listen to. I realized later on I could tell my friends all about the history and curiosities she told us during the visit. The selection of the "not so touristy" spots was a good balance between hidden treasures and unknown facts about known places. We were a group of 10/11 people from many different countries, so this can be an amazing way to meet fellow travelers as well! At the end of the tour we asked Laura an advice for a place to eat (we tried it and it was worth it and affordable) and before leaving she also gave us a little bonus, extending the visit for a spot more just around the corner. I truly suggest it! These are the best tours, grab your friends and be ready to learn and have fun around the beautiful Rome
