Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregio Private Shore Excursion from Civitavecchia

A memorable experience, perfect for reflecting over while you enjoy an Umbrian meal and a glass of Orvieto Classico wine. A few hours but that will make you discover the historical, artistic and gastronomic treasures typical of the countrisyde. You will cross hilly landscapes that hide millennia-old cities. Orvieto will be your first stop. You will discover the medieval and Renaissance city where you can visit the Duomo. It is one of the most beautiful in Italy.
We can also offer you the underground tour. Orvieto is an old town located on a tufa outcrop 300 feet above the gorgeous Paglia valley below. The city is mostly known for its Etruscan roots.
Your second stop will be Civita di Bagnoregio ( "the town that is dying"), due to the constant erosion of the tuff rocks where it is placed, this citadel half-way between Orvieto and Lake Bolsena has Etruscan and Medieval origins. Civita di Bagnoregio is beyond doubt one of the most beautiful and characteristic Italian villages.

We had a very enjoyable and informative all-day tour of Rome and Vatican City. Our guide, Nicola, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He arranged the schedule perfectly and gave us keen insights on each point of interest that we visited. Our driver, Claudio, expertly navigated the routes and was very friendly as well. We engaged Claudio to give us another half-day tour of Castel Gandolfo, which was superb. I strongly recommend Limousine Service in Italy for your travel needs.

Nicola and Stefano are TOP NOTCH tour guides and drivers, and we are so glad we decided to book this company for our day around Rome! He took us to places we WANTED to see and places that he knew we NEEDED to see! This tour is a wonderful way to get a taste of all the places that you can always come back to another time (and we will!) and tour longer. Nicola is VERY well versed in English AND knows his history and areas very well! The only way to get an overall tour of Rome!

From the moment we were picked up at our ship, we knew it was going to be a good day. We were dropped off 1/4 block from the Pantheon where we met Nicola, our guide. He is from Rome and loves his city. We were picked up at the Pantheon and dropped off at the Colosseum where we went right in. NO LINES. Nicola gave us a wonderful tour of the area and ended up with a beautiful view of the Roman forum. Trevi Fountain was next and again being dropped off so close to the venue saved so much time and energy. We asked Nicola to join us for lunch at Osteria dei Pontefici, where we had a delicious meal. The Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's were next. Yes, we did this all in one glorious day. Nicola was a wonderful tour guide, knowledgeable and impassioned and the driving from place to place made it so easy. This is the only way do visit Rome

One-Day VIP Limo Tour of Rome, Italy We had Sergio as our driver and Alessandra as our tour guide. There were three of us and had just finished a 14-day cruise with one day remaining before returning back to the U.S. This tour is the way to go when you have limited time. The cost made it worth while because of the convenience of it all. We can't say enough about having a personsl driver, tour guide and skip the line access to the sites. We could not have seen or learn as much in one day if we didn't take the VIP Tour. Sergio and Alessandra were professional and very knowledgeable. We were picked up at our hotel then subsequently joined by our guide. In the afternoon, we took a lunch break at a lovely italian restaurant (scheduled at our request by our guide) where the service and food were exceptional. After lunch we headed back out to finish up the tour. We were then taken back to our hotel after a long and exhausting but great day. Loved it! The Richardsons

I did the VIP private tour of Rome which included the Colosseum, the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and so much more. Nicola, my tour guide, and Sergio, our driver - were fantastic. Nicola knowledge of the history of the city was incredible and really kept me interested the entire time. They were more than happy to tailor the tour to what I wanted to see, while still ensuring we saw the most amazing places in time. We took some time to slow down and grab some coffee in the morning, and lunch in the afternoon, which was great. Nicola’s passion for the city really shown through and left me wanting to come back - and the Skip The Line tickets were well worth the cost. Had we had to wait in lines, we would not have seen everything I had hoped for. I highly recommend this tour, and I can’t wait to get back to Rome and do another tour with Nicola and Sergio!
